Hi Everyone! 🏴‍☠️🦜

Something a bit different….

(And excuse the dodgy poster it’s NOT AI but not my finest work… but I wanted to share the idea with you all!)

Acting Studio are going to be holding informal auditions tomorrow for their Pirate Panto!!

If you’d like to be part of it, come along tomorrow at 5pm and join in the silliness!

(It’s also very serious and pantomime is an important British theatrical tradition *ahem*)

Anyway…. It’s about Robinson Crusoe, the pirate captain is a woman and there’s some great characters in there, so if you fancy trying it, Kei Bailey and I would love to see you tomorrow. No need to prep anything, just turn up 🙂 xx

What an amazing open mic / showcase it was last night!

Thank you to everyone who performed, came to watch, supported, or provided equipment and did technical things!

Come and be a part of it at our next event - 27th November!

Aerial for adults! We get stronger each week, learn new skills, get tangled up, have fun and make some time just for us!

We now have two classes 7-8pm and 8-9pm Wednesday evenings so there’s now plenty of space if you want to join us next week?

You don’t need to be strong already or flexible… just willing to give it a go!

PANTO. Love it or loathe it?
It’s a staple of British theatre, but is there more to panto than terrible jokes and shouting “HE’S BEHIND YOU!”?

Tonight at Acting Studio, we’re joined by pantomime scriptwriter Kei Bailey to get stuck into a script, explore comedy, characterisation and timing, and put our own spin on this very British tradition.

Will we embrace the chaos or decide panto really isn't for us? 😂

Fancy getting involved?

Our Acting Studio is for ages 12–16. Whether you're an experienced performer or just fancy trying something new, come and get stuck in!
