Hmmm... how to make Music Theory sound interesting and like a class that people would WANT to take...

It's SO useful. It will make everything just make sense...

And it will be fun, practical, and designed to help students understand how music actually works. We’ll explore rhythm, notation, keys, scales, chords, harmony and musical structure... but always with a focus on putting it into practice.

We'll make it practical, and relevant, with singing, games and physical activities to develop your musical knowledge and learn how to apply it to the songs you sing, play and perform.

Perfect for performers who want to become more confident musicians, anyone learning an instrument or singing, or students who simply want to understand what all those dots, lines and musical terms actually mean!

No previous theory knowledge needed.

Give it a go... I guarantee there will be at least one 'ohhh i get it now!' moment!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to see our new home today! 🩷💙

It was so lovely to see you all, the founding members board is beautiful and the atmosphere was crazy!! 🤩

IT’S TOMORROW!! 🩷🩵

Just a little reminder that our Open Day is TOMORROW and we can’t quite believe we’re finally at the point where we get to open the doors and show you all what we’ve been working on!

The team will be there, so come down, have a look around, meet everyone and see our new home

We’ve got loads going on during the day…

Also….the first 100 students through the door will get one of our limited edition Arts ribbon bracelets for free. (Maybe first 90ish actually as I’m sure all the teachers will swipe them!)

The main Open Day is 10am–2pm, and then from 2–3pm we’ve got our Dance Hub taster sessions, so stick around if you fancy giving those a go too 🙂

⭐️⭐️ Meet the Team ⭐️⭐️

We are lucky to have so many wonderful people working with us, and Ruby is an absolute joy, always 🩷🩷

Heyyy! My name is Ruby, and I’m soo excited to be joining the Saturday classes as your choreographer 🕺💕

My journey with Amanda’s youth theatre group began when I was just 7 years old! I started out as a performer, trying to grow in confidence and develop my skills, and I now i am incredibly honoured to have the opportunity to teach alongside Amanda!

As a child, I was very quiet and shy and would often hide at the back of the room. Looking back, I never could have imagined that I would one day i’d be standing at the front, helping and inspiring the next generation of young performers.

I’m passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where everyone feels confident to express themselves, develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy performing. Having looked up to my own teachers throughout my theatre journey, I always knew that I wanted to become someone who could have that same positive impact on young performers. ‘The teachers who inspire us become the people we aspire to be’✨

Our Saturday classes are about so much more than just rehearsing for a show. We focus on building confidence, developing performance skills, exploring different areas of theatre and preparing students for auditions, while creating a space where they can be themselves and have fun.

I’m super excited to meet you all, share my love of theatre and watch you grow throughout your journey. I can’t wait to see what we can all achieve together and the new memories we will create in our new home🥹

Had a bit of an emotional moment yesterday and had them made especially for the Open Day as a little keepsake from our very first year
