Today was day two of University of York’s summer open day, we had at the peak 1750 cars parked at Elvington all with multiple passengers.

A fantastic job by our amazing team who have gone above and beyond to make sure prospective students and their families got where they needed to be.

We had many families take advantage of the Station shuttle and pop in to York for a look around the city after exploring the campus.

Thank you for everyone who travelled with us today we hope you all had an enjoyable day

DalesBus 874, operated by York Pullman Bus Company Ltd, connects the Leeds area with Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park every Sunday, all year round.

Buses run from Wetherby (0835), Harehills (0900), Leeds (0915), Headingley (0930), Otley (0955), Burley (1003) and Ilkley (1020/1410).

Buses on the 874 then take you to Bolton Abbey, Strid Wood, Burnsall, Discover Grassington, Kettlewell & Buckden.

Buses parallel the Dales Way Association walk between Ilkley and Buckden, making some
great linear walks possible.

Connections from Bradford are available at Ilkley at 1020.
