✨️ Calum & Alanna - 06/06/2026 ✨️
Introducing Mr & Mrs Ross! 🥰
A week after my last visit, I was back at Stirling Court Hotel.
These two met through a mutual friend back in 2017. Calum locked eyes with Alanna after her laughter brought her to his attention. They both seemed to instantly know they’d found the one.
Their first kiss was during a walk with friends up Cambusbarron quarry. Safe to say, sparks flew between them both and the rest, as they say, is history!
Their sons are now their biggest shared interest in life and they love their family holidays. They also enjoy listening to music, especially country, and singing along to it with the boys.
And the boys played a central role in Calum and Alanna's ceremony, with them both helping their mum and dad tie the knot using their colourful handfasting ribbons.
This poem, written by an unknown author, captured their love from a Scots’ perspective.
“Yer the neeps tae ma tatties,
Yer ma heart, yer ma hame,
Life without you ma darlin
Just isnae the same.
“Yer the fizz tae ma Bru,
There’s nae yin like you,
Yer the salt tae ma chips,
Keep puttin smiles oan ma lips.
“Yer the swally tae ma thirst,
Fae the best tae the worst,
Even when we’re pure scunnered an burst,
Ye still always come first.
“Through thick an through thin,
Even when life’s no playin fair,
I’d still choose you,
Nae questions, I’m there.”
Calum and Alanna shared some whisky from the quaich - their first drink as a married couple. Both the whisky – an Octomore from Islay (59.1% ABV! 🤯) - and the quaich were gifted to them by Calum’s auntie and uncle.
Fabulous, as always, working with Forza Photography.
