The Hub Westhoughton, funded by Bolton Together, is excited to introduce Cyber Safety sessions to empower adults and children with the knowledge and skills needed to stay safe online.

As a special treat, attendees will receive a goodie bag filled with goodies such as sweets, pen drives, notebooks, pens, and stickers.

Are you prepping for spooky season? Are you also looking to watch a horror movie with epic sound?

Well! look no further. At the Hub Westhoughton ran by the Gamingzone we are putting on a movie day!

There are going to be two movies, and you have the option to book the two movies.

The time for the first movie is 10am, the second movie starts at 12:30 and will end around 14:30.

Good morning!!!

I am glad to say that we are running Minecraft sessions over the summer break. Starting 29th July to19th August Fridays only.

We have two sessions running, one from 10:00am - 11:30am and from 11:45 - 1:15pm, this includes a select a meal option and drinks

Prices are £10 for 1 session or £15 for both inclusive of food/drinks.

Long time NO SEE to my computer coders and gamers. Im personally not able to come back to after school clubs at the moment (we do have one with Devon on Wednesdays at 6pm) however I can do the adhoc out of school club/course, even parties soon!
So for my first. Its going to be simple. I have a computer room to set up! 3 unboxed brand new PCS left to, set up , install...trouble shoot but of course network gaming with each other.
* First I am reaching out to any students who have attended in the past who would like to join me and 10 fellow students Wednesday 16th, 11am til 2pm £15 each which will include dinner and drinks.

We are looking for a coding educator to work 2-6 hours a week after school hours term-time (usually from 4pm). Coding experience to the minimum of primary level but must have the self motivation to develop skills to share and move children on to developing to the next level. Desirable to secondary GCSE level and up.
You will be working with children from primary school age and up. Where you will be their primary carer in a computer suite of 18 computers. DBS check will be essential. We are expanding our staff to cover our future plans of improving our technology available which in turn will increase popularity of our sessions. Session pay rate to be discussed, dependant on experience. Applicants must be 18+ due to the nature of responsibility.
Please provide a CV which covers all previous employment, relevant experience and why you would like to take on this role. Further training can be provided where applicable. Due to current lockdown, role is not likely to start until the earliest Sept 2020.
