And that’s a wrap on the 2026 season! It’s honestly been such a fabulous year, filled with gorgeous couples, amazing memories and some lovely new friendships along the way. A huge thank you to every single couple who chose me to capture their day. I absolutely love what I do and I hope it shows in every photograph.

There have been so many laughs, happy tears and genuinely hilarious moments this year. I even survived shooting weddings in 40 degree heat, and I’m still not quite sure how! Apologies for the sweaty, crazy hair look I rocked at times.

The snuggly bobbly onesie is going on, the fire will be roaring, the editing is calling and I’ll be right here curled up on the sofa until it all starts again. I’m sad it’s over for another year, but always so grateful that this is what I get to do. Heart full ❤️.

If the photography bit is the part you’re dreading, honestly, you’ll be absolutely fine with me.

I was reading back through my reviews last night with a cup of tea/ w**e really 😉 and it made me so chuffed. So many of them start with ‘we were so nervous’ or ‘we hate having our photo taken’, lots starting with ´my husband HATES having his photo taken’ but then go on to say they had the best day ever.

I really pride myself on listening to each couple. I don’t turn up like it’s just another wedding, because it’s not another wedding, it’s YOUR wedding, and I genuinely never take that for granted.

I’m not going to make you do anything awkward or spend half an hour posing in a field. We’ll get the family photos done quickly so you can get back to your guests, then I step back and capture everything as it happens.

You’ll still get the wow shots but it can all be done in a fun relaxed way that makes you just be you and isn’t that what it’s all about? You on your wedding day with all your fave people and the photographer there to capture it.
I want to share photographs that look and feel like you not like you were on a perfect photo shoot. Who needs perfect - not me that’s for sure!

Another tradition! Apparently in Spain the single girls all write their names on the sole of the bride’s shoes, and whoever’s name hasn’t worn off by the end of the day is the next one to get married. Cute, hey! Not as cute as having chickens roaming round at your wedding though. 👀

This is a family run vineyard in rural France. When I was told it was called the Naked Vineyard I was a little bit worried about the dress code, but not to worry, it’s just the fact they don’t use chemicals on their vines. It was a rule that we had to try the w**e, rude not too ;) and it really was delicious. Rescue chickens, sunshine and a lot of love and laughter really does make everything so much better.

A perfect backdrop for this adorable couple. Loved the bright colours and the chilled atmosphere of the day. A pleasure from start to finish Rhiannon Molton-Gardiner and Joseph.

Autumn in South West France… well, not quite, as it’s still feeling very much like summer! But these gorgeous autumn colours looked absolutely fab against the backdrop of this stunning venue. With their adorable twin boys who enjoyed the day just as much as their mum and dad Kelly Marriott 🌹 and Robin. And then, just as the evening was winding down, surprise fireworks lit up the sky and finished the day off perfectly. Who doesn’t love a good bang to finish off the day ;).

In France the brides don’t throw the bouquet, they have a ribbon cutting ceremony instead, and the last person still holding a ribbon is the next one to get married. It’s so cute and I absolutely love it, even if the men are usually watching in horror wondering who’s going to be left holding it. Only joking, they’re all super excited for it really I’m sure 👀.

A wonderful day at this fabulous venue, which always makes my heart full as it was one of the very first places I shot at in France. I remember thinking, whaaat, really? Me, all the way from Bolton, shooting at a French château? I’ll never take it for granted, that’s for sure.

When you book a wedding at the Fairytale Chateau you always hope it will live up to the hype. Well this one really didn’t disappoint. From the moment we arrived I knew it was going to be one of those days where everything had been planned around making sure everyone had a brilliant time.

As soon as a slt drop was suggested in the brides room I was like yaaaay this one is going to be a fun one. Such a sweet couple but bloody hell what happened when they hit the dance floor, we just couldn’t believe it! Not sure what was in those late night shots but I’m having what shes on next time I’m out lol. Such a fun fab group of people we really didn’t want to leave!

Can’t wait to share more from this day, it was a stunner ❤️.

Lace dress, sleeves, a groom in a tux, an emotional mum ❤️, a thousand (ok, maybe not quite a thousand 😂) bridesmaids, groomsmen and bridesmen, and a gorgeous new château to boot oooo yes please!

The adorable Fiona Jones and H planned their day perfectly, and what they wanted more than anything was to spend it surrounded by family and friends. That’s exactly what they did. The whole day was about being together and having the best possible time in an absolutely stunning setting.

Such an excited couple, and I couldn’t be happier for them, it all went so well and turned out exactly how they’d pictured it. Driving home after days like this, my heart is properly full ❤️

Can you tell I’m loving veils? Bit of movement, bit of drama, catching the light just right when it’s blowing about in the breeze.

First time shooting at this venue and it did not disappoint. Gorgeous light, plenty of spots to sneak off to, and fab owners who make everyone feel at home. I can feel like a chateau is my new home, no problem. Born for it 👸

Such a sweet couple who just wanted to enjoy the day, not spend ages posing about feeling like it wasn’t them. No stiff portraits, no forced anything, just them having a nice time and me watching and capturing it all just how they want.

I always listen and respect each couple and follow their lead. Your day, I’m just there to capture it for you.

Lots of couples say they want a relaxed, informal wedding, but then on the day, tradition often takes over and couples can feel pressure to conform. This couple were really clear they didn’t want that, and I loved having the freedom to just watch and document their day as it unfolded. Not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera and listening to couples and how they feel is a priority to me.

Knowing when to step in and when to step back comes from years of experience, and I was thrilled they loved their photos and got to properly enjoy their day and be in the moment. Golden hour was simply walking their gorgeous new puppy, just a few family group photos and then on to a packed dance floor. A very special day for everyone.
