Sadly I’ve never been one to keep up with social media as far as business is concerned (always been too busy working!) especially since I’ve sort of ‘retired’…so I was horrified to see lots of spam posts on my page recently and I’ve spent ages trying to delete them….but if you’ve managed to scroll past the rubbish, just wanted to say ‘Merry Christmas and all the best for 2025’….with thoughts for family and friends both with us and who have passed….all of them remain with us in our hearts not just at Christmas but throughout the year ♥️ ♥️♥️###

As Christmas is almost upon us again, it’s a particularly poignant time for those of us who have lost dearest family and friends. ‘Gone but not forgotten’ is a phrase we’ve heard many times, but is sooooo true, as those we love will always be with us in our hearts. Wishing you all a happy, peaceful Christmas with those you love, whether physically or in spirit.

Conducting the wedding celebration of Gina and Sean on Saturday, the weather might not have been the best outside, but inside The Barlow, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and absolutely buzzing as we waited for our beautiful bride. We weren’t disappointed, and Gina - and Sean - as you can see, both looked wonderful! A fantastic couple with very close families, they themselves set the tone for the day, and the occasion was both touching and sincere, and also a lot of fun! We wish you both all the best for the future Gina and Sean, and in the years to come 💖💖xx

Totally agree with this…..So many times about the words spoken at a funeral service and the celebration of life get-together which follows, I hear ‘so and so would have loved this….!’

There is such a thing as a ‘living funeral’……not as morbid as it sounds, just a party where people get up to speak, and your loved one gets to hear just how much they are loved and valued…..we take it for granted they know, but life is so busy, we don’t always take the time to tell them 💙xx

When you have yet another busy week, with a lot going on, and you’re starting to flag…..then you receive a couple of messages like the ones here, it reminds you why you do what you do, and makes all the hard work and long hours worthwhile.

This weekend I had the privilege of conducting the very special marriage celebration of Clare and Alex; special for all the usual joyous reasons of a wedding day, but also special because they tied the knot in their beautiful home. It was a wonderfully relaxed and intimate atmosphere as they made their promises to each other…..and of course, with Clare’s creative talent and attention to detail, a fabulous venue. Even the sun shone! ☀️☀️ We wish our beautiful bride and groom much happiness in their life together, and thanks again Clare and Alex, for choosing me to be a part of your special day; it truly was a pleasure 💕💕💕xx
