Bolsover Antique Fair Announcement.

Stall Holders, Visitors, and Supporters of the Bolsover Antiques Fair.

As the dust settles on what turned out to be an unforgettable day at Hillstown Village Hall and Playing Field, I want to take a moment to extend my gratitude to each and every one of you who made the Bolsover Antiques Fair a reality. From the bottom of my hearts, thank you.
This event wasn't just about antiques—it was about community, connection, and a shared love for the stories hidden in those treasures. And you all brought it to life in ways we could never have imagined.

To our incredible stall holders:

Your passion and dedication shone through every display, every conversation, and every smile you shared with visitors. You braved the setup, the uncertainties, and turned a simple field into a vibrant marketplace of history and charm. Without you, there would be no fair—thank you for believing in this vision and making it your own.

To the visitors who came out in force:
Even with the weather turning a bit gloomy—those overcast skies and occasional drizzles trying to dampen our spirits—you stuck with us.
You wandered the stalls, chatted with sellers, and embraced the day with open hearts. Your enthusiasm reminded us why we do this: to create moments of joy and discovery, rain or shine. You didn't just attend; you believed in what we were building, and that means the world.

A special shout out to our amazing team of stewards and first aiders:
Your efforts behind the scenes—guiding traffic, ensuring safety, and keeping everything running smoothly—were the backbone of the event. You handled every little hiccup with grace and professionalism, and we're so grateful for your commitment.
And to the wonderful folks at Hillstown Village Hall:
Thank you for being such gracious hosts. Your support, from providing the perfect venue to accommodating our needs with care and efficiency, made all the difference. You've been more than partners—you've been like friends, and we couldn't have done this without you.
Despite the cloudy skies that loomed over us, the spirit of the day was anything but gloomy. People came together, laughed, bargained, and left with not just antiques, but memories. That's the magic we aimed for, and you all delivered it. It wasn't perfect—life rarely is—but it was real, it was ours, and it was beautiful because of you.
Looking ahead, let's carry this energy forward. The next Bolsover Antiques Fair will be even better, brighter, and bigger—because we've seen what happens when a community rallies around a shared dream.
I truly believe in us all, and I hope you'll join us again.

The weather is looking amazing 🤩 so don’t forget your hats/sunscreen and water bottles.

If you are joining us from further afield and coming via the M1 please use jct 29a for the best route with a beautiful view of the castle 🏰.

If you do choose to use jct 29 please note you may hit traffic and a very narrow road, - if you are joining us via this route don’t forget to swing by Twin oaks Carboot from 12. It’s a King Kong of a carboot. 🦍

Please Help to support our stall holders they has come far a wide to bring this antique fair to Bolsover❤️with your help this could become a regular event in our town.

Not all our stall holders will have a card machines so please bring cash 💰 to avoid disappointment.

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who is supporting us on our first event, my little dream has now become a reality because of you 🫶✌️

We’re gearing up for a fantastic day at the Bolsover Antique Fair on Saturday 16th August, from 9am to 2pm at Hillstown Village Hall and playing field.

If you’d like to share your business name, photos of your items, or a sneak peek of your stall, feel free to post them here to spread the word!
There's no pressure — just an opportunity to showcase what you’re bringing to the fair.
We know Not everyone attending the Fair has Facebook, but that means their stalls will be a nice surprise 🎉
Also, not all stall holders will have card machines for payments, so please bring cash to save any disappointments.

Event Details:

Location: Hillstown Village Hall (with toilet facilities) and the playing field, accessed via the entrance on Mansfield Road.

Accessibility: The playing field is level with disabled access into the village hall.

Parking & Entry: £5 per car (includes entry fee);
walk-in entry is £1 per person.

Support: Our friendly stewards will be stationed at entrances and around the fair to assist with any questions or issues you may have.

We can’t wait to see everyone next weekend for a great day of antiques and treasures!

Antique fair Bolsover 🚨

Dive into a world of antiques, vintage, retro and salvaged treasures plus rare collectibles.

Reproductions stalls are welcome if clearly labelled for all to know.

This unique fair is set in the charming area of Hillstown just a short walk from Bolsover castle 🏰.
Come and explore history and special finds in one delightful day.

Come along and join in.
If you are attending to shop, price are
£1 per person walk ins
Or £5 per car including entry

Pitch prices are £27

Please note this is not a carboot
What we are looking for
•antique dealers
•vintage dealers
•retro dealers
•collectable dealers
•salvage dealers
•anyone who buys and sells the above items as a hobby
•reproduction of the above (must be clearly marked as reproduction)
•new items made from salvaged materials
•original art work

Stall plots are approximately 8m + 6m
(This is including your vehicle)

If you require a larger plot this can be arranged for an extra fee.

We are just two individuals👫 who have a love and passion for all things unique, vintage or just with a story behind it 🫶.
We both enjoy carboots, markets, antique shops or salvaged yards.

We wanted to bring a little bit of the magic of a French flea 🇫🇷 market as well as the traditional British market we all grew up knowing. ⭐️
