The wedding season has quietened down for me for a while until it gets going again towards the end of July and August. Congratulations to all the lovely couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with so far this year.
As many of you know I reach the age of retirement next week !! How could I ever stop dealing with such beautiful flowers, so fear not I’m not hanging up my scissors just yet!
I am going to take a couple of weeks away from today. Abbey will open up on Friday 11th July for a few hours and I’ll be back the following week.

The summer flowers are beginning to come in thick and fast, both soft colours and bold. The short season of the majestic peony is here. Hoping the forecasted rain doesn’t flatten them, on the other hand we really need the rain.

A heart felt thank you for the sunflower bunches that were purchased from The Loose Leaf, also for the donations that were very kindly given. I was able to send £150 to Just Giving - Southport Strong Together and Flowervision raised £720 but rounded it up to £1,000. Thank you for your generosity.
