✨ Reflecting on 2025… what an unforgettable year for My Special Event ✨
As 2025 draws to a close, I can’t help but look back and smile at just how many incredible moments this year has brought for My Special Event.
This year has included meeting a handful of celebrities — including the legendary Marco Pierre White and Chesney Hawkes, with a real pinch-me moment of getting to sing “The One and Only” with Chesney while cruising 🚢✨ — an experience I’ll never forget.
It’s also been wonderful to spend time once again with The Take That Experience lads. It’s always a pleasure seeing them, and the thought of working with them for our charity concert in May 2026 is incredibly exciting… if a little daunting! Working with such a professional act is an honour, and I genuinely can’t wait.
2025 also saw me performing at The Cat and Rabbit Summer Fayre, visiting Warners, and having the chance to sing with another fantastic Take That tribute band, Re Take That — moments that remind me just how much I love performing and being part of live events.
On the wedding side of things, working on the Vows & Views Wedding Fairs in Spring and October has been a real highlight — meeting new suppliers, catching up with familiar faces, and watching the wedding community continue to grow has been truly special.
Looking ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting one, with more Vows & Views fairs, new encounters, more incredible experiences, working with my favourite tribute band, and continuing to plan our 2027 Charity Concert, which is already well underway. Oh and Generations Singing Duo has another recording session booked in the recording studios in Tonbridge Wells.
It really is such an exciting time for me and my little business.
None of this would be possible without the constant support of my parents, my husband, my son, my friends, and every single person who has supported me — especially during the odd wobble along the way. Thank you to those who continue to believe in me and in what I do.
I truly love my job, I love the people I work with, and I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do.
Long may it continue ✨
Thank you,
Zoe x
