There’s something uniquely special about receiving flowers from someone who cares about you. A thoughtful surprise, a small gesture that says 'I’m thinking of you'

Each bunch is grown, gathered, and arranged with care — no air miles, no chemicals, just the best of the season from the field.

Whether it’s to celebrate something big or simply to brighten an ordinary day, a gift bouquet is always a kind gesture.

Medium bouquets are available to order now for collection or local delivery 🌸

Back in February, this field was just bare soil and big plans. It’s wild to think how much has changed in just a few months.

Walking through the flowers this evening at golden hour got me feeling a bit reflective (and maybe even a little proud). It’s so easy in flower farming to always be looking ahead with planning, sowing, prepping for what’s next that you forget to take in what’s happening right now.

So this is me trying to be a bit more present, to appreciate what’s here, in full bloom, before the season shifts again. And right now? It’s looking pretty lovely.

Friday Flowers, the hottest week yet! 🌸

It’s been a scorcher in Cornwall this week, and while the flowers are still blooming their hearts out, the heat brings its own set of challenges. Early starts, extra watering, and plenty of wilting (both me and the plants 🙃).

This bunch is part of this week’s Friday Flowers, full of colour, texture and a few heat-loving stars holding their heads high. Flower farming in this weather is no joke, so shout out to all those folks working outdoors at the moment - don’t forget to drink your water and look after yourself!

They’re here… the first dahlias of the season! ✨

Every year they take their time, teasing me with lush green growth before finally showing off their first blooms but oh, are they worth the wait.

I’m completely smitten with them all, but I’ve got a real soft spot for the pom poms (perfectly round little globes of joy) and the open-centred varieties that the bees go wild for. There’s something about their colour, texture and generosity that just fills up the field, and my heart, with delight!

The dahlias will be featuring heavily in my bunches and bouquets from now until the first frost… and I’m so excited to share them with you. 🌸

Harvesting might be the final step in the cut flower growing process but it's perhaps the most important.

Each flower has its own perfect picking point. Some prefer to be cut in bud, others when they’re in full bloom. You need to keep an eye on the weather too as one unexpected downpour and a whole crop can be damaged.

You also need to know exactly where to cut – not just to get the right stem length, but to encourage new growth and more blooms to come.

It’s a process full of detail, timing, care, and a bit of instinct. There’s something incredibly satisfying about finishing the journey from seed to vase and seeing all your hard work create such beauty.

Happy May Day to those who celebrate!

Traditionally, Lily of the Valley is the flower of May Day. Delicate, fragrant, and fleeting, it’s long symbolised happiness, renewal, and luck. In parts of Europe, especially France, it’s customary to give a sprig to someone you care about on the 1st of May.

Here in Cornwall, May Day has its own unique traditions - from Padstow’s Obby Oss celebrations to Helston’s Flora Day, it’s a time rooted in folklore, music, dancing and flowers. It’s all about welcoming in the warmth and life of summer, with the old traditions honouring both nature and community.

Mine is just starting to bloom, tucked into a shaded corner of the garden. It’s a quiet flower, but once you catch its scent, it’s utterly intoxicating ✨

That's a wrap on tulips for the year and what a lovely season it’s been! 🌷

They were planted on 21st November, once the cold weather had finally set in. I left them alone through the depths of winter, letting them sit quietly beneath the soil. Their first shoots appeared in February, and the very first bloom opened on my birthday at the end of March - the best gift!

Short, sweet, and always full of delights, the tulip season brings such a welcome burst of colour and joy to the start of spring.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought bunches, it means the world to grow flowers that make their way into your homes.

There are a few final bunches available at and just a handful of 10-stem wraps left to order via the website before we say goodbye to them until next spring ✨🌷
