I've spent the last 10 years making this video...
I've always made videos in one form or another (some better than others...)
But I had no idea that weddings would be the place I really found my groove.
This is the story of how Maven Visuals Wedding Films came to become one of the top rated wedding videography businesses in Devon & Cornwall 🫡
p.s. In the approx 100hrs I spent putting this together over the last month, I couldn't help but feel immense gratitude to both everyone featured in the video and all of the AMAZING couples over the years.
Anyway I wanted to tag my close friends (all considered blood family imo) in no particular order of importance.
- The love of my life and someone with whom I will one day star in a wedding film alongside. Thank you for being everything, all the time, without fail.
- My dad, and the one who handles all the invoicing so I can focus on the bits I love. Thank you for all the wisdom and pain spared from helping me spot mistakes well before I'd most certainly make them.
- My mother, and undisputed biggest fan - thank you for always being there and supporting us as we've grown Maven Visuals Wedding Films, and for always being sure to contribute your ideas.
- for everything I said in the video, and for everything else. Too many individual thank yous for help over the years it would get weird... most recent success in legitimately saving my cats life by sending a care-package of food and treats whilst she was sick (it was the first proper thing she'd eaten all week).
- for recommending me to literally EVERY couple that ever enquires, and being genuinely excited about every victory Jess and I have.
For giving me the best ending to this video I could have asked for haha, and for being a great friend. You and your humour is a great comfort to many of us in dark times.
