On Friday I had a lovely evening flower demonstrating to the wonderful members of Beaworthy Flower Club 🌿✨

From a simple bucket of carefully selected flowers came five completely different arrangements, each with their own style, movement and personality. It was such a pleasure to demonstrate how flowers and foliage can be transformed using shape, texture and a little creativity.

A huge thank you for such a warm welcome, lots of laughs and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening. It’s always nice sharing a passion for flowers to like minded people 😊

Alright…I'm just going to say it - my husband is officially better than yours 💁‍♀️🌸

We've joked about him being a florist for years and he’s only gone and turned his hand to floristry and made this peony vase for our wedding anniversary...just look at this.

Honestly, I don’t know whether to be proud or slightly threatened. I leave him alone for five minutes and suddenly he’s out here arranging like he’s been part of The Bloom Room team for years 😂

Safe to say I’ve created a monster - next thing he’ll be taking orders and stealing my customers 👀

But for now… I’ll let him have his moment.

I love what I do — and this bouquet is exactly why.

There’s something special about letting flowers speak for themselves, not overworking them, just guiding them into place. With this one, I wanted it to feel soft, natural, and effortless… like it had simply come together on its own.

I’ve used blush roses at the heart for that timeless, romantic feel, layered with delicate spray roses and ruffled lisianthus to add texture and movement. The lilies bring a gentle structure and height, with a few still closed so the bouquet continues to evolve over the coming days — something I always love including.

I haven’t forced anything here. Each stem has been placed with intention, but also with trust — letting the shapes, tones, and textures find their balance. Finished with fresh greenery and clean wrapping, it’s modern, but still full of that classic florist touch.

For me, it’s not just about how it looks in the moment…
it’s about how it feels to give, to receive, and to live with.
