My name is Katie Cornford and I am a photographer based in Cornwall. I have lived my whole life here and love taking advantage of the beauty Cornwall has to offer.

After studying a three year photography degree at Plymouth College of Art, I have developed a passion for photographing people, both in a natural environment and staged settings.

I mainly specialise in photographing weddings, but also focus on portraiture, using my portable studio in a home space or out on various locations. I enjoy photographing fashion and editorial work in my spare time, exploring my own crazy projects, using my creative skills in hair and make-up.

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Claire & Jason’s beautiful wedding day in St Ives, and what a day it was! ☀️

A hot summer’s day, the most beautiful setting, and a day filled with so much love, laughter and good vibes. It was fun, relaxed and just genuinely wonderful from start to finish. ❤️

A little catch-up from a few months ago 🤍

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing my **first ever pair of twins**, Koa & Nova, who came along with their lovely big brother, Kylo 🥹

All three of them were absolute angels, and I genuinely loved every minute of this session. There’s something so special about photographing those little connections, but getting to watch the bond between twins *and* the bond between siblings was just gorgeous. 🤍

So many little cuddles, smiles and moments between them all — the kind of moments I love capturing and that I know their family will treasure as they grow.

Thank you for trusting me to capture this special time for you all. 🥰

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of photographing this family through so many special chapters — Tate and Rhaena’s newborn sessions and first birthdays, their wedding, and their Christmases year after year.

So when Kayce came along, it was such a privilege to be there to capture these first precious days with him too. 🤍

There’s something incredibly special about watching a family grow in front of my camera, from one milestone to the next. I’m so grateful they continue to trust me with these memories. ✨

Back in May, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Zoe & Wallis’ beautiful wedding day, and what a day it was! ✨

From start to finish, the day was filled with so much love, laughter, energy, and the best vibes. There was music, tattoos, ice creams, happy tears, and so many unforgettable moments in between.

These are the weddings that remind me exactly why I love what I do. By the end of the day, it felt less like I’d been working and more like I’d spent the day celebrating with friends. ❤️
