🍻 A little more British goodness coming to Avalen… 🇬🇧

We’re excited to share that we’ll be stocking Hawkstone, the British drinks brand founded by Jeremy Clarkson, right here at Avalen Country Weddings! 🌾

We love supporting British produce, homegrown businesses and the people behind them. There’s something special about celebrating the best of what our own countryside has to offer, and we’re proud to be bringing a little more of that to Avalen.

As the wedding season quietens down, we get a little more time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings we’re lucky enough to call home. 🌿🍎

A short walk through our ancient apple orchard leads down to Helman Tor Nature Reserve, where you never quite know who you might meet… 🐄🐾

Today, Bob met up with our local residents. 🤎

Just another little piece of the magic at Avalen Country Weddings.

🍻 Welcome to the Bull Pen Bar 🍸

One of the things we love about the Bull Pen Bar is that it’s not just a bar — it’s part of Avalen’s story.

Our huge handmade granite bar was created using leftover granite from the original farm buildings, giving the space plenty of character and a little piece of Avalen’s history.

And the best part? Your bar comes fully staffed on your wedding day, so you and your guests can simply relax, grab a drink and enjoy the celebrations. 🥂

We serve a great selection of local drinks, including handcrafted spirits from our friends just down the road at Colwith Farm Distillery.

From your first welcome drink to the last orders of the evening, our team will be behind the bar ready to look after you and your guests. 🤍

Good drinks, great people and a bar with a story to tell.

Did you know that you can get married under our ancient Sycamore tree?

Tucked away in the heart of our Cornish countryside, our ancient sycamore tree provides one of the most beautiful spots at Avalen to say your vows.

With our ceremony arch nestled beneath the branches, you can get married surrounded by rolling countryside, with Helman Tor rising beautifully behind you. 🌳

There’s something really special about exchanging your vows outdoors, with the sound of nature around you and the Cornish landscape stretching out beyond.

From your ceremony beneath the ancient sycamore to drinks in the courtyard and exploring the meadow with your guests, Avalen gives you the chance to make the most of the countryside on your wedding day.

A little bit of Cornwall, a beautiful old tree, and the beginning of forever. 🤍
