I'm Phil McIntosh, a photographer and videographer based in the central belt of Scotland. Photography has been a passion of mine for many years and I rarely leave the house without my camera. I never know where my next journey might take me and I am keen to show the beauty and the landscapes of the area I'm proud to call my adopted home. Whilst I primarily specialise in Landscape photography I'm k

een to start introducing a human element to my shots and I'm currently experimenting with portrait photography. I also deliver drone and video work and have supplied footage to Reuters, World Economic Forum, Local Authorities in Scotland and my work has featured on the Impossible Engineering TV show. Alloa Inch at Sunset - my runner up entry from the recent Inner Forth photo competition. The old farm house and land had to be abandoned after mining work caused the flood defences to fail. Now it is slowly being taken over by nature. Looking forward to seeing all the other entries at the future exhibition ☺️

Last photo from my sunken boat series at Charlestown Harbour in Fife, Scotland - these boats were too well embedded in the silt for the initial cleanup a few weeks ago. In time they will be removed from their salty grave and broken up to no longer be recognisable as yachts.

Back to Charlestown in Fife last night to see the latest on the harbour cleanup. Only a handful of ruinous hulls of boats left to be removed. I have split views on this, whilst it's good to see the harbour being cleaned up, it's sad to think that this is yet another once busy harbour on the Firth of Forth that will no longer see ships come and go but I am also mindful that those days left it years ago with boats only seemingly coming into the harbour to die and rot in an unofficial boat graveyard 🪦 ⛵.
