Put it in his heart to help me.” That’s a great prayer. “God, put it in people’s hearts to help us. God, cause me to stand out, cause people to want to be good to me.” You might be thinking, "But Joel, that’s kind of selfish." No. If you’re going to reach your destiny, if you’re going to accomplish your God-given dreams, go places no one in your family has gone, you have to be bold.

You can’t be weak and intimidated, “This is too much.” You need to ask big, pray big, believe big. You’re going to need other people to open doors, other people to fund your dream, other people to use their influence to push you forward.

Every morning declare, “Father, thank You that You created me in Your own image, that You crowned me with Your favour, that I’m a masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made.

I am valuable, talented, worthy, a prized possession.” That’s exercising your spiritual authority. That’s marking your territory, setting new boundaries, letting the enemy know that the land belongs to you.

When you pronounce it, then you can possess it. That’s when God will fight for you. You don’t have to defeat the enemy. He’s already defeated. God will go before you and clear the path.

He’ll move the wrong things out of your way so you can possess the land.🙏

​Behind every big dream is an even bigger inspiration. For me, that inspiration is my mum and the vibrant, beautiful culture of Grenada she raised me on.

​Look at this energy right here that's pure pride, the rich history, the Jab Jab spirit, and the warmth of the Caribbean. This is exactly what I want to bring to life.I am officially on a mission to open a Caribbean Community restaurant. It won't just be a place to get incredible food (though you better believe the Oil Down and nutmeg-infused dishes will be unmatched!); it’s going to be a space for connection, culture, and community.

A place that feels like home, honouring the woman who started it all for me.

​The journey is just beginning, and I can’t wait to take you all along with me. Stay tuned for behind-the-scenes updates, menu testing, and a whole lot of flavour.
