BLANTYRE MINERS WELFARE - THANKS
We want to thank the Blantyre Miners Welfare for giving us a Room at the Inn this Christmas!
Big hearted man, Andy Simm, made sure that we had a place to run our Christmas appeal from this year, and we are so grateful. And it’s fair to say that Andy will HATE this post! 😂
He gave us a room in the Miners fabulous Community Resource Centre, for two weeks, to make sure that we could organise our appeal for Blantyre kids.
Andy was also behind letting us use the ground to create the Blantyre Miners Community Garden. Our garden is on Miners land and Andy could see our vision for the space and made our case to the Miners Committee, allowing us to create our magical garden.
A big hearted, community man. Thanks to Andy, and the Miners Committee for once again getting right behind Bonnie Blantyre.
The Community Resource Centre is an absolutely fantastic facility. It has several rooms, which will be available to rent in late January. It’s a jewel in Blantyre’s crown. If you’re looking for a space, get in touch with [email protected]. You’ll not be disappointed with this place - we’re sad to be leaving it!
