We are delighted to announce that this year's Rattray Beaver Run - Half Marathon and 10k are raising funds for Children's Hospices Across Scotland (known as CHAS) and five local mental health charities; Mantalk, Andy's Man Club, Happy to Chat, Women's Walk and Talk and The Grief Hub.

***SAVE THE DATE - SUNDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 2026***

As promised, we are delighted to announce that the 2026 Rattray Beaver Run will take place on SUNDAY 20th SEPTEMBER and will again include the Half Marathon and 10K distances.

We know you will all be thrilled to hear that the routes will be the same as always!

***2025 Beaver Run raises £8500!***

After Pete Ritchie who had been organising the Rattray Blair Half Marathon for many years stepped down, it seemed the event was doomed, but thanks to Kilmac's generous 3 year sponsorship deal, it was saved at the last minute. Renamed the Beaver Run, and organised by Blairgowrie & District Rotary, September’s hastily pulled together 10K and Half Marathon ensured this year's chosen charities, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance and Parkinson’s UK, each received cheques for £4250.

Plans are already being hatched to ensure next year’s run will build upon the success of this years event. Date announcement coming soon!

We are also incredibly grateful to the Blairgowrie and Rattray Development Trust, Perthshire First Aid, the Blairgowrie Runners and all the volunteers who helped on the day.

Dropped off a medal and buff to this local legend tonight. Peter Ritchie organised this run for 6 years - he was unable to join us for the run this year, however is going to run the route. Maybe next year Peter?? 😊

Remembering the good old days (not so long ago) when the sun shone and the hills were alive with Rattray Beaver Run runners 🥰.

💪It was dam tough but they made it!! Well done to each and every one 👏💪

Massive thanks to all who helped and to the Blairgowrie & District Rotary for leading on this event and making sure it could continue and to Kilmac Limited for sponsoring and taking part!
