I’ve been a bit quiet on here for a while 🤍
Since losing Rory last April, social media has felt really hard. Knowing what to say, how to say it, or even where to begin hasn’t come easily. Although I’ve still been working away quietly in the background, I’m so grateful to the amazing suppliers who’ve continued to share my work through collaborations - it honestly means more than you know.
I’ve worked incredibly hard to build this little business and I’m so proud of it. But life has changed, and with it I’ve had to really think about how I move forward - what’s sustainable, what’s realistic, and what supports me and my boys now that it’s just us.
So, for anyone who doesn’t already know, I’ve made the decision to move away from gift bouquets and flower deliveries. Going forward, Ginger & Blossom will be focusing mainly on wedding flowers, funeral work, and freelancing. This wasn’t an easy decision - I hate saying no and I never like feeling as though I’m turning work away - but I need to be honest about what actually makes sense for my business and my family.
Mostly, I just wanted to say this:
I’m still here.
I’m still flowering.
And I’m endlessly grateful for every bit of support, kindness and encouragement that comes my way.
