Sharing photos from our Annual Easter Bonnet Parade and egg hunt in our Pre Primary Ballet classes last week.

The dancers had lots of fun parading their hats and then searching for hidden treasure and the Bonnets were once again amazing. Thanks to the staff at BMI who had the difficult job of choosing the winners.

We weren’t able to get individual pictures of the Thursday group winners but if you look at the photos you can see them holding their prizes.

Well done to all our dancers and a big Thanks to the Patents for making such a wonderful effort.

Can we please have a massive round of applause 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼
for Scarlett, our very own JSTD superstar who has been offered a place at the highly prestigious Laine Theatre Arts on their BA Musical Theatre course starting September 2026.

This is the latest of a number of places Scarlett has been offered to further her training including Performers College and Italia Conti she is on a roll and deservedly so.

We are so proud of you Scarlett, your talent shines through at every performance. So happy to gave been part of your dance journey.

Huge Congratulations from all at JSTD. We look forward to supporting you in your last few months before the next step of your Musical Theatre journey.

I have some amazing news to share with you!

Scarlett, Intermediate student and teaching assistant at JSTD has recently started her journey to secure a place to further her training in Musical Theatre.

Her very first audition was at the highly rated Performers College just 3 weeks ago and today they have offered her an unconditional place on their BA Musical Theatre course.

Wow, well done Scarlett that’s a wonderful achievement.

JSTD has been fortunate enough to see a number of former students attend dance and Musical Theatre course/ colleges that are affected by the current rules of Student Finance Wales.
We also have a number of students planning to head down this route.

We would ask you to read the petition in support of them.

What a fantastic festive time we had at our Christmas shows this year.

3 sell out performances and everyone danced beautifully.

We have lots of photos and video clips to share so watch out for more over the next few days.

A huge thanks to every involved in the show and thanks to Blackwood Methodist Church for hosting us.

We’ve had a wonderful fun filled 3 days of dance raising over 1k for the church funds.

Our pre primary ballerinas had lots of fun last week at our Halloween themed classes.

Picking pumpkins, mixing potions and casting spells to name a few spooky moves they performed and mimes they acted out.

Lots of grades and ages from 5 to 17 and pre-primary to grade 6 and lots of happy, smiling confident dancers.
