Yesterday we were at the beautiful Bartle Hall for the wedding of the gorgeous Tayla & Ben, and what a lovely moment it was when I presented Tayla with her exquisite Bridal Bouquet. 🤍🌿

Created in a beautiful palette of Sage, Forest Green, Dark Green, Ivory, Whites & Creams, we designed the loveliest naturally gathered, posy-shaped bouquet — soft, romantic and full of gorgeous movement, texture and those special little details that make a bouquet truly personal.
The bouquet included Rosemary, Olive, Senecio, Jasmine, Roses ‘Piper’, along with two of our absolute favourites, Avalanche by Meijer and Bridal Flow by Voorn. We also added Nerines, Sweet Peas, Kalanchoe, Gypsophila and Eucalyptus to complete this beautiful, naturally gathered design. 🌿🤍

And there was a particularly special flower story hidden amongst them…

We included Kalanchoe because it was the very first plant that Ben had bought for Tayla. 🥹🤍

I absolutely love incorporating little pieces of a couple’s story into their wedding flowers. It might be a favourite flower, a meaningful colour, something from their garden or, in this case, the very first plant a groom bought for his bride. It makes the flowers so much more than simply beautiful — they become part of their story. ✨

And then came that magical moment when Tayla held her bouquet for the very first time… honestly, one of my favourite parts of the wedding morning. 🤍

🌸✨ Amy & Daniel | From “I do” to the celebrations ✨🌸

Yesterday, we left our beautiful bride Amy as she reached the top of the aisle and joined her groom Daniel, surrounded by our magical Broken Arch, ready to share their vows at The Well Church in Ansdell.

And now we can continue their beautiful story… 🤍

With their vows beautifully officiated by Pastor Rick, Amy and Daniel became husband and wife — followed by that wonderful, long-awaited first kiss as a married couple. 💕

And then the jubilation began!
As they made their way back down the aisle together, the happiness was absolutely infectious. There were huge smiles, laughter, cheers and so much love filling the church. 🥂✨

And outside, the celebrations continued…

As Amy and Daniel emerged through the front doors, they were greeted by a glorious shower of fresh rose petal confetti. 🌹

It was such a joyful moment — before our newlyweds headed off to continue their celebrations at The Clifton Arms Hotel, Lytham.
But our day wasn’t quite finished…

Once the last guest had left the church, our Jason carefully loaded all of their beautiful fresh flowers onto our van and headed to the reception.

Then came a little Flower Design Events magic… ✨

Rather than letting those gorgeous ceremony flowers have just one moment, we re-imagined and repurposed them throughout the reception room.

They were transformed into beautiful table arrangements and used to frame Amy and Daniel’s gorgeous wedding cake, beautifully created by bridesmaid Amy. 🌸🎂

We absolutely love being able to create flowers that evolve throughout a wedding day — from the ceremony, through to the wedding breakfast and celebrations, allowing the flowers to continue surrounding our couples and their guests wherever the day takes them.
It’s not just about creating beautiful flowers.

It’s about making them work beautifully throughout the whole day, creating memories and getting every possible moment from those precious blooms. 🤍

🍋🌸 The arrival of the beautiful bridal party | Amy & Daniel 🌸🍋

And then… the beautiful bridal party began to arrive at The Well Church in Ansdell, ready for one of the most important moments of their lives. 🤍

First to arrive were Amy’s three gorgeous bridesmaids — and the fact that all three are pregnant made their arrival even more special! 🥹💕

They looked absolutely beautiful in their dreamy lemon sorbet gowns, each carrying one of their fresh, vibrant bouquets.

Their flowers were bursting with colour and texture in our palette of deep pinks, apricots, pale lemon, ivory and blush, filled with Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas, Dahlias, Ranunculus, Thlaspi, Chasmanthium and fragrant Eucalyptus.
And that perfume… simply incredible. 🌸
Then came our beautiful bride…
Amy and her incredibly proud Dad arrived in the most wonderful lemon Thunderbird, and what an entrance it was! 🍋🚘
Waiting to welcome them were two enormous floral pedestals, beautifully framing the church doorway and creating the most spectacular floral entrance.
Before heading inside, there was still plenty to do. Each of the boutonnières was carefully pinned into place, making sure every little detail was just perfect. 🤍
And then came those precious few moments before the ceremony…

In beautiful traditional British style, Amy and her Dad led the way up the aisle, followed by her three bridesmaids.

At the head of the aisle stood Daniel, waiting patiently for his bride, surrounded by glorious fresh flowers which framed the huge cross behind him. 🌿🌸
You could almost feel the anticipation in the room.

That wonderful combination of excitement, nerves, happiness and emotion that exists in those final few moments before a bride walks towards the person she is about to marry.
It was simply beautiful. ❤️
And this is only the beginning of Amy and Daniel’s floral story…

✨ Gemma’s Beautiful Bridal Bouquet ✨

One of my favourite moments from Friday at beautiful Thicket Lodge, Bartle Hall Hotel🤍

There was so much joy, laughter and excitement when I presented Gemma with her beautiful bridal bouquet — one of those precious little moments that makes creating wedding flowers so incredibly special. 🥹✨

Gemma had chosen a soft and romantic palette of buttermilk and ivory, and her bouquet was designed to gently trail and cascade softly from her hands, with no height, creating an effortlessly elegant and feminine shape.

It was filled with the most beautiful flowers, including Roses, Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium Orchids, Dahlias, Jasmine, Freesia and fragrant Rosemary. Each flower brought its own texture, movement and delicate beauty to the bouquet, with the Jasmine and Rosemary adding the most gorgeous fragrance too. 🤍🌿

And then there was one very special little detail… tucked towards the back of the bouquet was a single crimson Rose ❤️
A tiny flash of rich, deep colour amongst all those beautiful soft ivory tones — subtle, unexpected and incredibly romantic.

Seeing Gemma’s face as I handed her bouquet to her, followed by all the laughter and happiness, was simply wonderful. These are the moments I treasure most from a wedding morning. 🤍

✨ And Then Came the “I Do’s”… Alicia & Mark 🤍

Following those precious moments of anticipation on the beautiful Bartle Hall Hotel staircase, it was finally time for Alicia to walk down the aisle and marry her Mark.

With her incredibly proud Dad, Tim, by her side, Alicia made her beautiful entrance, surrounded by flowers, candlelight and all the people she loved most. It really was such a magical moment. 🤍

The ceremony setting had been designed to create a truly romantic floral backdrop.

Three glorious FD Flower Bombs framed the ceremony, overflowing with Roses, Hydrangeas, Carnations, Delphiniums, Stocks, Snowberries, Gypsophila and lots of beautifully fragrant Eucalyptus.

At the heart of the ceremony stood our magnificent Floral Moongate, creating a stunning focal point and the perfect backdrop as Alicia and Mark exchanged their vows.

Alicia’s exquisite bridal bouquet brought together Delphiniums, Bridal Flow & Playa Blanca Roses, white Carnations, Eustoma, Sweet Peas, Larkspur and Stocks, creating a soft, romantic bouquet with beautiful movement, texture and fragrance. 🤍🌿

And then came that wonderful moment…

Alicia and Mark were officially husband and wife! 🥂

Their first kiss as a married couple was followed by the sweetest romantic moment as Mark kissed the back of Alicia’s hand before they made their way back up the aisle together.
And what a way to leave their ceremony!

The newlyweds stepped outside to a wonderful shower of fresh rose petals, surrounded by the cheers, love and congratulations of their family and friends. 🌹🌹🌹

We absolutely adore how flowers become part of these precious memories — framing the entrance, surrounding the vows, creating the backdrop for that first kiss and then following the couple into their first moments as husband and wife.
And, of course, these beautiful ceremony flowers would have another very important role to play later in the day…
But more about that in our next chapter! 🌸✨

For now, a massive congratulations to the beautiful Alicia & Mark.
It was an absolute joy to create your wedding flowers and to be part of such a special day. We wish you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, happiness and countless wonderful memories together.

🌸 The morning after the night before… 🌸

Back at The Clifton Arms Hotel, Lytham for Amy & Dan, and what a transformation!
Their magnificent Broken Arch, which created such a beautiful focal point for their wedding yesterday, has been carefully deconstructed and transformed into a collection of gorgeous bouquets and arrangements. 💕🌿
Nothing wasted, everything given another moment to shine — spreading a little more floral joy around The Clifton Arms before the flowers begin their next chapter. ✨
And just look at all those beautiful blooms… 🌸

🌸 The moment Amy saw her wedding bouquet… 🌸

There are some moments in wedding floristry that stay with you long after the flowers have gone — and presenting Amy with her wedding bouquet was definitely one of them. 🤍

Amy’s bouquet was a joyful celebration of colour, scent and texture, created in a vibrant palette of deep pinks, apricots, pale lemon, ivory and the softest blush.

We filled it with beautiful Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas, Dahlias and Ranunculus, with delicate Thlaspi, Chasmanthium and fragrant Eucalyptus adding movement and texture.

And the perfume… honestly, it was unbelievable. 🌿🌸

Those Sweet Peas were particularly special.
After going to quite extraordinary lengths to get them here in time for Amy’s wedding — as I shared in our little behind-the-scenes story earlier this week — seeing them nestled amongst her flowers made every bit of the flower hunt worthwhile. 💕

And then came that moment…
As I presented Amy with her bouquet, both she and her lovely mum were visibly overwhelmed. Amy was trying so hard to hold back the tears.

It’s one of the things I love most about working with fresh flowers. They have an extraordinary ability to bring emotion into a moment. Their colour, their fragrance, their beauty — somehow they can make everything feel even more real.

And there was another lovely little part to this wedding…

All three of Amy’s bridesmaids are pregnant, and they absolutely adored their bouquets too. There was something incredibly special about creating flowers for four women who are each experiencing such an important and memorable chapter in their lives. 🤍
Flowers aren’t simply decoration on a wedding day.
They become part of the memories, the emotions and the photographs. They are held, smelled, admired and remembered — and sometimes, they’re the very thing that brings a tear to your eye. 🌸
Amy, it was such a privilege to place your bouquet in your hands. 💕

✨ The moment Rachel received her wedding bouquet at beautiful Statham Lodge Hotel… ✨

Yesterday morning, our lovely Jason had the special pleasure of presenting Rachel with her beautiful bridal bouquet — and it was one of those little wedding moments that we absolutely love being part of. 🤍

Rachel’s bouquet was designed as a romantic, full posy with a softly loose, garden-gathered shape and beautiful broken edges. We kept the bouquet quite full and compact, giving it a wonderfully romantic feel while complementing the beautiful flower-shaped lace and embroidery on her wedding gown.

The colour palette was effortlessly elegant — ivory, white, cream and fresh greens, with the prettiest delicate touches of blush. 🌿🤍🌸

We filled the bouquet with a gorgeous mix of flowers, including beautiful Dorchester Roses and Bridal Flow Roses, alongside seasonal Freesia, Dahlias, Eustoma, Gypsophila and Sweet Peas.

The stems were kept natural and finished with a soft satin handle, adding that final touch of understated elegance.
And then came that lovely moment… Jason presenting Rachel with her flowers for the very first time. After all the planning, conversations and choosing of flowers, suddenly the bouquet she had imagined was right there in her hands. 🥰
These are the moments we treasure — knowing that our flowers will be carried through one of the most important days of someone’s life.
Rachel, you looked absolutely beautiful, and it was such a pleasure to create your flowers and be part of your wedding morning at Statham Lodge. 🤍

✨ A beautiful bridal party arrives at Wennington Hall ✨

And what a bridal party it was too! 🤍

The film begins with the darling little Flower Girls and Ring Bearer perched on the sofa, patiently awaiting the arrival of the grown-ups. Each carried the sweetest little posy in soft ice blue and ivory — just heavenly! 🩵🤍

Then came Bridesmaids Annie & Bethan, descending the grand staircase in their beautiful ice blue gowns, joined by Brides Man Louis. Each carried a sweetly scented bouquet, created to complement the soft blue gowns and suit and our relaxed, country-garden gathered style.

And then came our stunning Bride Katie, accompanied by her very proud Dad, Dave. 🤍

Katie’s bridal bouquet was a dreamy gathering of pale blue Delphiniums, Daisies, Roses, Sweet Peas, Hydrangeas, Dahlias and Thlaspi, with ivory, soft grey-blue and fresh green foliage woven through the design.
The perfect complement to Katie’s exquisite ivory gown from Bridal by Brittany Anne, with her soft, natural makeup and beautiful relaxed bridal style.

And then, of course, the moment we all love…

Katie & Nathan emerging from their ceremony as newlyweds! ✨
They were beautifully framed by fresh flowers arranged on tall pedestals, overflowing with Delphiniums, Hydrangeas, Roses, Oxypetalum and lots more seasonal blooms. A romantic floral frame for those precious first moments as Mr & Mrs at beautiful Wennington Hall

It really was the loveliest day — soft ice blue, ivory and garden-inspired flowers, a wonderful bridal party and one very happy newlywed couple. 🩵🤍🌿
