I really can’t thank Marco from Kwizeen enough for helping make our ‘End of Summer Party’ at Poulton Plaiz Leisure Park, Poulton le Fylde such a success.
We organised the event as a free afternoon for our residents, while also raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support through our raffle, tombola and other fundraising activities. As you may imagine, we had a tight budget to work with — and from the very beginning, Marco was absolutely fantastic.
He worked with us to put together a brilliant barbecue, including Angus beef burgers, proper 9” sausage hot dogs, chilli chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, onions and all the extras. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! He also went out of his way to make sure our vegan and coeliac guests were catered for, which was really important to us.
What really stood out for me, though, was just how helpful, patient and accommodating Marco was. Our numbers changed several times, even right up until the day before the event, and he was so understanding and flexible throughout. We eventually ended up catering for around 190 people, and Marco took it all in his stride.
On the day, Marco was joined by two lovely ladies, and the three of them worked incredibly hard. They were friendly, professional and just a pleasure to have there.
As someone who had helped organise the event, having a caterer I could completely rely on made such a difference. Marco was one of those people who made everything feel easier rather than adding to the stress — and that is worth its weight in gold when you’re organising an event!
Thank you, Marco, for all your hard work, kindness and flexibility. You helped make a really special afternoon for our residents, while also helping us raise money for a very worthwhile cause.
I would genuinely recommend Kwizeen to anyone looking for fantastic food, great service and, most importantly, someone who really cares about doing a great job.
