Junction Four Productions Blackpool/Fylde-based theatrical production company including prop hire, scenery build services and rehearsal space rental.

We also run community projects including The Shed. Established in 1904 Junction 4 Productions (Originally known as Lytham Amateur Operatic Society) is one of the original amateur musical groups on the Fylde Coast of the UK. We are always looking for performers or people interested in the backstage elements of the theatre so get in touch if you are interested! What an incredible night on Saturday for the crew of the Starship Albatross!

Our Bosun, Navigation Officer, and Cookie represented the cast of Return to the Forbidden Planet and Junction Four at the Association of Community Theatre - ACTUK Spotlight Awards in Bolton, and we’re excited to share that we brought home two awards!

✨ Most Accomplished Actor – Dan Hudson as Captain Tempest

✨ Most Accomplished Vocal Ensemble Performance – The Ensemble of Return to the Forbidden Planet

A massive congratulations to all the winners and a huge thank you to ACT for organising and hosting a brilliant awards evening and an opportunity to celebrate another brilliant year of theatre with the rest of the district.

Our Story

Established in 1904, Junction Four Productions (formerly Lytham Amateur Operatic Society) is one of the original amateur musical groups on the Fylde Coast of the UK. With a rich tradition of classic and contemporary musical productions under our belts, we stage at least one musical performance per year, usually in the Lowther Pavilion but we are expanding and diversifying our repertoire into other areas of performance in 2018.

We also provide other services of use to the theatre world:

We make and design scenery, staging and props. We have many regular clients including societies and schools.

We have an extensive collection of props and costumes for hire at reasonable rates.
