Tuesday brought the loveliest surprise. 💛
I had a call from J P Dell Funeral Directors letting me know a family had dropped off a card for me.
When I went to collect it, I found the most beautiful handwritten words inside:
“Thank you so much for an outstanding service. We couldn’t have chosen anybody better. With love.”
I never expect thanks, especially at a time when a family is navigating their grief. It truly is my honour to write and officiate Celebrations of Life.
So when someone takes a moment to share their appreciation, it feels incredibly thoughtful. It truly stops me in my tracks.
To the family, thank you. Your words mean more than you know.
This is why I do what I do. 🤍

I’m so excited I get to work with this awesome couple again… but you might be wondering, why?
Well… Ruthmary & David have decided that for their first wedding anniversary next year, they would love a Handfasting ceremony! 🪢💫
Last June, I had the absolute joy of officiating their wedding, and when Ruthmary called asking if I’d create another ceremony for them, my whole heart did a little happy dance.
Handfasting is such a gorgeous, symbolic way to celebrate connection, commitment, and choosing each other all over again and I cannot wait to weave something magical, meaningful, and completely them.
Bring on Round Two with these two legends. 💞✨

Today, I had the privilege of celebrating the life of Tina. A lady whose world revolved around family, cooking and baking, and always being there.
She was the heart of her home: a brilliant cook, a feeder, a doer, and a very hands-on Nan, the one everyone could count on.
A much-loved wife, Mum, Nan and Great Nan, loving, kind, and quietly strong, with warmth and laughter at the centre of it all.
Tina and her beloved Stephen shared 53 years together, travelling the world and finding special joy in their many trips to The Gambia, a place that held their hearts and so many happy memories.
She was also a dab hand at DIY, wallpapering was one of her superpowers, and she could transform a room with precision and pride.Her famous cherry and coconut cake was always the first to disappear.
Tina's love lives on in every meal shared, every recipe passed down, and every memory she helped create.

Benn and Katie’s day was pure magic. Moody skies, a touch of drama, style that belonged on a magazine cover and a ceremony written just for them!
Every detail was flawless, yet the whole day still felt totally them.
It was one of those weddings where every photo makes you stop and smile, the kind that reminds you being authentically you, and doing your wedding your way is the only way!

✨ One of the most magical parts of my job is moments like this… ✨
A bride from 2022 shared this beautiful comment about the ceremony I created for her and her husband. She said she still loves reading the love story I wrote for them, years later. 💛
It’s moments like these that remind me why I do what I do, creating stories, capturing love, and crafting memories that last long after the confetti has settled.
I feel so lucky to witness love in all its forms and to be trusted to make someone’s day truly theirs. Every ceremony I write is a story, a celebration, a memory and sometimes, it’s one that lives on forever.

This afternoon, we gathered to celebrate the life of an incredible lady, Toni.
A sister, wife, mum to eight wonderful children, including her triplets, Nanny, and friend and someone who somehow made space in her heart for everyone lucky enough to know her.
The chapel was filled to the brim, a sea of people whose lives she touched. Laughter through tears, stories shared, and an overwhelming sense of love. It all spoke louder than any words ever could.
Toni’s legacy lives on so clearly in her beautiful family, in their mannerisms, their kindness, their strength, and those unmistakable high cheekbones she passed down with pride. She is woven into their every day: in jokes, in memories, in moments of joy, and in the love they carry forward.
Caring, bubbly, strong-willed, straight-talking, hilarious, and endlessly selfless, Toni lived life fully and fiercely. And she leaves behind a world brighter for having been in it.
Her final journey this afternoon, led by two stunning horses, felt just right for her, graceful, full of dignity, and surrounded by love every step of the way.
What a life. What a legacy. 💜

Meet the team… that’s right, it’s just me! 🙋♀️
I’m the founder, creative director, script writer, accountant, social media manager, officiator… and occasional coffee-fuelled chaos coordinator.
I love running my own business and creating ceremonies that mean the world to people, but I’ll be honest, sometimes the “social media department” (also me) needs a little pep talk. 😅
So here’s to all the small business owners doing it all and occasionally winging it along the way!

This morning, we celebrated the life of Keith.
He was loved beyond measure by his parents, sister, partner and so many friends.
The crematorium was bursting, a testament to the lives he touched.
Keith will be remembered for his ability to light up a room, his sense of humour, his infectious laugh and his love for his family.
He could find laughter in the simplest of things, turning moments into memories that had everyone in stitches.
He was loyal and generous, the kind of person who stood beside you through absolutely anything.
His passing has left a space in the hearts of all who knew him, one that can never be filled. But his light continues to shine through in the stories told, the laughter he inspired and the countless memories he leaves behind.
Though his time here was far too short, Keith’s legacy is one of joy, love and togetherness.
And that is how he will always be remembered. 💛

The joy of having a celebrant for your celebration, is your ceremony can be held anywhere, at any time and include anything you wish for on your very special day. Which makes each ceremony individual and personal.
I am an independent Civil Celebrant trained to the highest level of qualification available in the UK. I was trained by Civil Ceremonies Ltd; the leading celebrant training organisation in the country and successfully gained my Level 3 Diploma in Celebrancy: Naming and Couples.
We get to know each other in the time leading up to your celebration. This makes the delivery of the ceremony so much more exclusive and meaningful to you on the day. As I can incorporate your personalities and individuality into the ceremony.
There are no restrictions to what you can include. You can choose the readings, poems, and music you want. Your ceremony can be traditional with religious elements. It can be modern and include your love story or the crazy, funny tales of parenthood. The ceremony can be unconventional, heart-warming, funny or a beautiful blend of everything mentioned.
It is my job to listen to what you want, put all the ideas together and create and deliver your perfect ceremony.
