Inspired by Eddie, one of our Directors at Choice Hotels who is dyslexic, we’ve been supporting a local teacher undertaking dyslexia training.

This is designed to help create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Vicky’s course is going very well and she has been working with a student from Westminster Primary Academy, Blackpool for the practical tasks on her course.

The child has really enjoyed these lessons and even came in over the half-term holiday as she had missed a session due to absence.

Her parents have reported that they’re really pleased with how the lessons are going and how much confidence it has given her.

It’s fantastic to get feedback like this for something that means so much to us. We’re looking forward to continuing to support Vicky through the rest of her course and creating a better learning environment for dyslexic children.
