🦎 Summer Holiday Animal Adventures at Blackpool Reptiles! 🦎

Are you looking for something unique, educational, and exciting for your children this summer? Have an hour to shop and just need something for the kids to do- that they will love?!

We are considering launching a series of right here at Blackpool Reptiles, and we want to know if this is something you would be interested in!

These would be small, bookable sessions where children can get up close and personal with some of our incredible animals. Each session would include:

An Educational Reptile Show: A fascinating look into the world of our scaly, shelled, and legless friends.

Meet & Greet: A chance to learn about their care and biology in a fun, interactive way.

Photo Opportunities: Capture the moment with your favourite reptile to remember the day!

We are passionate about teaching the next generation about these amazing creatures, and we’d love to bring that passion to your summer holiday plans.

We had an absolutely brilliant time at b&fc blackpool and the fylde college for their Future U project, ‘Future Zoo’! 🐍✨

The students were truly fantastic—so confident handling the animals and brimming with such insightful, intelligent questions. We hope they walked away with a wealth of new knowledge about reptiles and the realities of the trade.

While we love bringing smiles to children’s parties, our team also possesses deep, professional expertise that we are passionate about sharing with inquisitive minds of all ages.

We thoroughly enjoyed hosting one of our Gold reptile parties over the weekend! 🦎✨

We met a young lad who was a total Steve Irwin in the making. He took a special liking to Bindi, our 21-year-old Royal Python (named after Steve’s daughter, of course!). He already had his handling poses down to a T and was incredibly respectful of our party animals.

Seeing a budding future keeper in action really gets us excited. We are looking forward to doing some additional work with this young man to encourage his interests and provide all the information he needs to pursue his passion for animal care in the future. 🐍📚

The whole group was wonderful—full of energy and enthusiasm. We loved performing for them! Just a reminder for parents: our team never expects children to sit perfectly still for an hour. We know that’s a long time for little ones, so a bit of hustle and bustle is absolutely fine with us.

We are always happy to work with the children to ensure they get plenty of time to hold the animals in a way that feels like fun, rather than a lecture. (But.. if you want a lecture, we can do that too 😄)

We had a brilliant time at a house party a couple of weeks ago! It was a pleasure meeting such a wonderful group of children and adults. 🐍✨

The party child on this occasion was full of reptile knowledge and was clearly passionate about herpetology.

One of the highlights for us was seeing a few children who were initially a little apprehensive about meeting our animals. This is completely natural, especially for those who haven’t grown up around reptiles!

By the end of the session, those same children were incredibly enthusiastic to meet our party animals. Seeing that shift from fear to fascination is always such a proud moment for our team.

You can book a party purely to look and learn. We will never force anyone to handle, touch, or even go near an animal they feel nervous about. Instead, we’re happy to keep our distance and share some fascinating facts about how these creatures behave—helping everyone understand their unique behaviour. 🦎📚

We LOVE 1-2-1 sessions! We have had some amazing one on one time with some children and adults so far this year...

We have plenty of space starting from June... allow you to get up close and personal with either a species of your choice or a general session. These are a great for your special one- of any age! We completely tailor these sessions for you.. and they take part at Blackpool Reptiles & Aquatics LTD or at your home if you prefer.

Another wonderful hosted this morning… we covered an array of tasks which are very similar to what we do in our own jobs everyday as .
