Congratulations to our Mini Stars graduates! 🌟

Throughout their time in our Pre School Programme, they have grown in confidence, developed new skills, made wonderful friends and taken their first shining steps into the world of dance.

September is the perfect time to try something new, build confidence, make friends and discover a passion for performing. We offer classes in dance, acro and musical theatre for children from age two, with something for every age and level of experience.

Two week trials are available for new students, giving them the opportunity to experience our classes and find the perfect fit. ⭐️

More than just a holiday camp... 🙂

Behind all the fun at Musical Madness, there was a LOT of learning happening too!

Across five days, our campers developed their singing, dancing and acting through learning lyrics and choreography, exploring characters, responding to direction and working as an ensemble.

Each activity supported important wider skills. Remembering routines strengthened concentration and coordination, while exploring scripts and lyrics encouraged imagination, communication and an understanding of storytelling. Preparing for the final performance also taught the children about commitment, resilience and supporting one another.

They built musicality, stage presence and self belief, all while enjoying material from some of their favourite musicals. 🎭🎶

We love creating a camp that feels like five days of FUN while providing a valuable educational experience that helps every child grow as both a performer and a person. 🤩

A VERY PINK DAY AT MUSICAL MADNESS! 💕

We couldn't have a week celebrating some of our favourite musicals without a little bit of Wicked magic!

On Friday, our campers had a VERY special visitor when Bubble Witch - Glinda arrived at Starlight! 🫧

Of course, everyone had to have their moment with the Good Witch herself, and we couldn't resist sharing the photos.

It was such a fun way to finish our Musical Madness week and definitely a little extra magic that we hope our campers will remember!

We’ve had a few extra special moments in the studio recently…

We had a very special visitor in the studio when our receptionist Michelle brought in her gorgeous new puppy, Luna! Safe to say, she was a VERY welcome distraction and had plenty of attention from everyone. 🐶💖

We also got to celebrate Eliza-Mai’s birthday Starlight style! She spent part of her birthday doing what she loves at class and even brought cakes in for everyone to enjoy.

Puppy cuddles, birthday celebrations, cake and dancing… Perfect! 🤩

We are so excited to announce that Starlight will be returning to the stage this December for our very first Winter Showcase! 🤩

📅 Friday 11th to Sunday 13th December 2026
📍 Thornton Little Theatre

As we did not get the opportunity to hold our usual dance show this year, we wanted to give our students something special to work towards before Christmas.

The Winter Showcase will be a low pressure, fun and festive performance opportunity, giving our students the chance to perform for their families, build their confidence and enjoy being back on stage.

Each participating class will prepare one performance number during their normal weekly lessons. There will be no costumes to purchase, as students will predominantly perform in their Starlight uniforms with simple festive additions.

Participation is optional, but students who sign up must be available for:

• The full showcase weekend from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th December
• Compulsory cast rehearsals on Saturday 21st November, Saturday 28th November and Saturday 5th December
• Regular weekly classes throughout the rehearsal period from September onwards

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The participation fee is £25 per student and must be brought to the studio in a clearly labelled envelope.

Registration closes on Saturday 5th September, or sooner if all available places are filled.

Full information has been emailed to Starlight families. Please check all dates carefully before registering.

We cannot wait to finish 2026 with a festive celebration of our students and see them shining on stage once again! ⭐

🤩 THE FUN OF MUSICAL MADNESS! 🤩

We packed a LOT into five days at Musical Madness… and made sure there was plenty of time for fun along the way!

In between the singing, dancing, acting and rehearsing, we packed our week with games, crafts, challenges, lots of laughter and plenty of general silliness.

Because camp isn't just about what we manage to put on stage at the end of the day. It's about making friends, trying something new, getting involved and creating the kind of memories that make you want to come back and do it all over again! 💖

Here are just a few of the moments that made us smile during Musical Madness 2026.

Our LAMDA classes are about so much more than speaking in front of an audience. They help students develop lifelong skills that will support them throughout school, further education and into the workplace.

🎭 Musical Madness is in full swing! ✨

What an incredible week it's been so far! Our studio has been filled with singing, dancing, acting, games, crafts, laughter and lots of unforgettable moments.

With just one more day to go, we're making the most of every minute before another fantastic Summer Camp comes to an end.
