We held our first wreath workshop of this year last night, at , everyone went home with some fabulous wreaths, and all different from each others, I love seeing how people work when they are all given the same ingredients, and yet every wreath looks individual.

Thank you Sara for having us back for the third year running, and to my glamorous assistant thankyou for all your help.
Onto the next class now.

Beautiful British flowers still available in November!
The brief for this coffin spray was,
To use all British flowers ✅
We dont want you to use oasis ✅

So as I grow flowers I am able to use British flowers in my work, I also work alongside some other fabulous growers when I haven’t got a particular flower or certain colour.
For this piece I used extra flowers from and

The second request was easy as I don’t use oasis, preferring to use moss which had been collected from my garden.

If you want sustainable, compostable funeral flowers in my area please get in touch.

I can’t quite believe this happened a week ago now!
This year the Eastern region of were invited again to create a display at .

We decided to base our design on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s book ‘The Secret Garden’, showing the healing and regenerative power, of working in harmony with nature.

So after a lot of planning with zoom meetings and also a practice run, early on Tuesday morning 10 flower farmer florists, met at Sandringham show ground.

We then began to make our display, watching our design come to life, whilst talking flowers and growing of course!

The next day we entered the Royal marquee with excitement to see if we had been awarded a medal, we had the privilege of winning a large gold medal for our stand, then presenting their majesties with a bouquet and buttonhole, grown and arranged by our team of course.
We then spent the rest of the day speaking to lots of people about sustainable British flowers and floristry.

I am so grateful to be part of , and being able to enter shows like with other fabulous fftf members, we had an amazing team of farmer florists and growers again this year, Its a wonderful experience working with and meeting fellow flower growers and sharing our experiences together.

Thankyou to the most amazing team:

My ranunculus are finally starting flower after getting off to a disastrous start.
First we had mice eating the young plants then the cold weather killed some more.
But once they start flowering and looking so gorgeous they are worth it, and i know I’ll definitely be growing them again next year.
