We don’t normally open for dining on a Wednesday. We do if the table is big enough to justify it. Last night the village netball team ( is a sponsor of) held their end of season awards do and summer social. Grazing boards followed by basque cheesecake 👌. A lovely evening enjoyed by all. Thanks from all the ladies. Everyone loved the food as always 👏👨‍🍳🥂.

We just wanted to advise everyone that we DO NOT tolerate violence of any description in this establishment. We have always prided ourselves on having created a lovely place to come to and part of that is a result of our tolerance policies.

You are reminded that if you ignore this and behave in a manner we deem to go against this, you may be asked to leave and depending on the severity you may be advised to enjoy a 3 month cooling off period from frequenting this pub.

Our team are not here to resolve your issues with others, neither are our regulars.
