The Back Bar at The Kings Head

The Back Bar at The Kings Head Great little music venue in the historic old market town of Bishops Castle, nestling in the hills on the Shropshire/Powys borders of England and Wales.

As you would imagine by it's name, it is the back bar of the Kings Head pub on Church Street. One of six pubs in the town, all of which have their own style and character. The Back Bar at The Kings Head holds an "Open Mic Night" every Tuesday, hosted by local musicians Pete Keeley & Dave Rea, where all are welcome. An acoustic based night with PA/mics provided, just bring your instrument/voice alo

ng and come and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and banter. Other music nights and events will be posted and advertised locally, including in local entertainment guide "31 Days in Shropshire".
