Well, it's a busy week in the barn. From our Countryside gatherings on the first Wednesday of the month, Bishop's Castle Football Club had a do at the weekend, to the Mainstone WI in tonight. They are having a demonstration 'How to create a beautiful buttonhole.' Very handy if you're attending a wedding this summer.
In-between all this, we've turned out our new bull Thunder and tailed some hogs ready for shearing. This is clipping around their bottom to remove mucky wool to prevent lovely guests, maggots 🥴

Saturday's wedding was all about the detail. Beautifully presented and the weather was kind.

Shropshire is flooded in sunshine. It's not often the wind isn't making its presence known up here. Today, it was truly perfect. Skylarks singing and a hare whizzing by. I'm truly grateful for living where we do.
