🐴✨ Our equine stars are getting dressed for opening day!

As we count down to the launch of Kynren – The Storied Lands on 18 July, some of our four-legged performers have been fitted with bespoke costumes that will help bring history, myth and legend to life.

Created by a specialist team whose work has featured in major productions including Gladiator II, Napoleon, The Rings of Power, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Witcher, every piece has been carefully crafted to combine authenticity with spectacular visual detail.

From the horses of powerful Prince Bishops to mounted guards, these handcrafted costumes help create immersive worlds for visitors to discover.

One of the stars preparing for the summer is Ufano, a stunning 17-year-old Andalusian horse who will be taking centre stage in the new productions.

A beautifully landscaped setting is taking shape at Kynren – The Storied Lands, our new daytime park 🌿

Natural areas are being created across the site, with bird and bat boxes, wildflower planting, and new habitats designed to support local wildlife.

We’re also adding a further 15,000 trees and extensive hedging—helping to shape the landscape you’ll step into this summer.

Anna, our CEO, recently checked out the progress that's been made and helped plant a tree — along with some feathered visitors!

🔥 Before you feel the heat of the Viking forge up close, there are training evenings spent practising the craft behind the scenes.

Our blacksmiths are back, stoking the fires and sharpening their skills as they get ready to welcome visitors again this summer.

As part of Kynren – The Storied Lands and the pre-show entertainment before the night show, the Viking Settlement gives visitors the chance to see traditional blacksmithing in action and experience a glimpse of Viking life.

We can't wait to see you there this summer. 🔨

💙 Happy National Volunteer Week! 💙

This week, we're celebrating our Archers — the incredible people who volunteer to make Kynren possible.

Every year, more than 1,000 volunteers come together to create something truly extraordinary. From performers and animal handlers to costume makers, technicians, front-of-house and backstage teams, our volunteers dedicate their time, talent and passion to bringing history to life on an epic scale.

This Sunday, we'll be showing our appreciation with a special volunteer picnic as we celebrate everything our volunteers do for us throughout the year.

The soundtrack to Kynren – The Storied Lands is coming to life.

The world-renowned BBC Concert Orchestra recorded original music specially composed for two of the spectacular new live-action shows - Legend of the Wear and The Lost Feather.

From soaring moments of flight to epic tales of myth and legend, the music forms an integral part of both live shows, helping to bring every moment to life through emotion, drama and cinematic storytelling.

Recorded at the legendary Maida Vale Studios in London, this extraordinary soundtrack will soon be heard as part of the Kynren – The Storied Lands experience when the new day park opens on 18 July!

This weekend, the Kynren Archers — the incredible 1,000 volunteers who bring our award-winning night show to life — returned for another weekend of outdoor rehearsals.

In 2026, we've welcomed lots of brand-new Archers to the Kynren family, and its great to see them taking to the stage (or shining behind the scenes) as every element starts to come together.

Every rehearsal brings us one step closer to those unforgettable summer evenings under the stars… and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another spectacular season. ✨
