contacted me back in Sept last year to ask would I cook for a online magazine
They didn’t tell me much but a menu was picked using Autumnal ingredients 🎃
Off I went to near Pickering armed with my chef knives ready to cook up a 4 course meal
On the menu was
Caramelised onion, Apple and Goat’s Cheese Crostini with Balsamic glaze and Pomegranate
Spiced Carrot and Ginger Soup with Homemade Sourdough
Herb-crusted Salmon with Garlic-infused Potatoes and Autumn Greens
Maple and Pecan Tart with Yorkshire Cream
I always believe that life throws things at you for a reason. When my aunt died for months after I would get her redirected Sainsbury’s Magazine come through the door. The month I went to cook was the last issue I received. And there I was cooking for Sainsburys Magazine!
