contacted me back in Sept last year to ask would I cook for a online magazine

They didn’t tell me much but a menu was picked using Autumnal ingredients 🎃

Off I went to near Pickering armed with my chef knives ready to cook up a 4 course meal

On the menu was
Caramelised onion, Apple and Goat’s Cheese Crostini with Balsamic glaze and Pomegranate
Spiced Carrot and Ginger Soup with Homemade Sourdough
Herb-crusted Salmon with Garlic-infused Potatoes and Autumn Greens
Maple and Pecan Tart with Yorkshire Cream

I always believe that life throws things at you for a reason. When my aunt died for months after I would get her redirected Sainsbury’s Magazine come through the door. The month I went to cook was the last issue I received. And there I was cooking for Sainsburys Magazine!

VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN MENUS 🌱 Follow for more private chef life

We understand that a lot of our stories lately have been meat heavy. This is mainly due to the menu choices our clients have been requesting lately

Don’t worry we always have a separate option or we can even make the whole menu vegetarian and vegan

We run a street food business dedicated to plant based food and we reached the final of The British Street Food Awards so it can’t be bad right?!

Here are some of our spring menus from a tasting 6 course to 4 or 3 courses.

Mushrooms not your thing? That’s fine we can tailor the dish to suit you.
More of a cheese lover? We can definitely make a more cheesy menu using cheese made locally

BYE OCTOBER 👋 Follow for behind the scenes of private cheffing

Let’s play catch up!

At the start of October I catered a wedding in a cave! (More on that later)

We then just made it to the airport and headed off to Istanbul (we had to beg for our cases to be checked in 🙈)

In Istanbul we had a look round the sites, ate a lot of food and went on a boat trip

Highlights were a cooking class with Sibel from and a 100% plant based meal at .ist ran by

We then headed off to Marmaris where we go at least once a year mainly for me to go scuba diving and drink a lot of apple tea!

I came back to 2 private events back to back and an office lunch. Plus unpacking the van from the wedding!

I then headed off to cook for 2 families in Windermere. During the day I would have a little look around and source local produce and then cook on the night

Some dishes made were: A full Sunday dinner, salmon risotto, carbonara, Panna cotta and maple and pecan tart
On the last day I used the pumpkin innerds to make a cream of pumpkin soup, the kids favourites - spaghetti bolognese and lasagne and we finished off with hot chocolates and a make your own s’mores bar!

I then celebrated Halloween with a McDonald’s 🍔

Ancho chilli slow roasted pulled pork with a lime creama and crispy onions
