And that's a wrap! Our last ever room dressing was today! We transformed the venue at Stanhope for a beautiful little girls christening this morning! You all know we've always loved a good before and after so we will start the photos off with a before, during and after as always! We supplied table covers, chair covers, organza sashes and table runners, balloons, fully stocked candy cart, and our Light up LED letters S R and added a few extra bits and pieces that were given to us to add (photos/banners etc) 🩷

We just want to thank every single person who's supported our business over the past 5 and a bit years, from anyone who's booked with us, considered us, liked and shared our posts.. all of it.. we really do appreciate it! We've loved every minute of it and we really are sad it's come to an end.. But it's our time! We also want to thank everyone for our well wishes with the future.. Hi Everyone, it's with great sadness we announce that after 5 years it is the end of an era for us and we will be closing our doors! This isn't a decision we have taken lightly but we have both agreed it is time, we both have too many other commitments to be able to give this business our full commitment now and we've explored many options before coming to this decision. We do want to take this time to thank every single person who's supported our business over the last 5 years, we have loved transforming all your venues, from birthdays, christenings, engagement parties and your weddings. We will be forever grateful for the trust you have put in us over the years and its a journey we will never forget. It's a sad day for us but ultimately a decision we have had to make, We have one last event next week and then our doors will be closing. Thank you again! With Love from Gemma & Gemma! X

Just a quick reminder and a post for our newest page members of the faces & info behind A Gem For Every Occasion 🥰
We're both called Gemma, so that keeps it nice and easy for you! 🤣, We're based in Wolsingham but happy to travel approximately up to an hour away for your event. We decided one day we were going to set up an events business in 2019 and so we did, and despite covid and being shut down to the world for a while we came back fighting to make our business a success! We care about your event just as much as you do! There's no such thing as a silly question with us, and we appreciate every single booking we get as it really does mean a lot when you support a small business 🩷 so welcome to all of our newest page members, and thank you to everyone else who's still here with us! We aren't usually ones to post negative posts, but can we please remind all of our customers to not rest their glasses/beer bottles etc on top of our large LED Letters, on numerous occasions we're having to deep clean and repaint our letters due to ring marks and spillages all the way down them, not only that you could cause an electrical fault with them too which isnt ideal for us as a business or you as a customer/guest of a customer. Unfortunately there has also now been a couple of occasions where glasses/bottles have also been smashed due to them resting on top and being knocked off and when we've come to collect our letters we're having to pick broken glass out of them! We are making all of our customers aware about it now on the understanding you will respect our products and remember not to place your glasses there, however if this continues we will have no option other than to introduce a damage deposit, we don't want to have to do this so we're trying to give our customers and their guests a polite reminder first. Thank you.

We haven't actually got any proper photos yet of our black chair covers with our sashes, but I've took a couple of screenshots off a video and I'll post the video too! The reason for this is one of us is usually the photo taker... however on this occasion my business partner was very sneaky!!! I couldn't take any photos because I didn't know about this and can't take any credit for the set up. As it was a surprise party ... for me! As you can see as she walks me into the room and i dive back out! 🤣 but yes can we just take a moment to appreciate how elegant the black chair covers look and paired with a lovely subtle satin mint green sash! (Pics in the comments as it won't let me post them)

Just a little post to say what makes us different to other 'bigger companies' and basically there is one main reason...
When you book us for your event, we genuinely care about your day.. Whether that be a birthday party, a christening, baby shower, or your wedding and any other event inbetween.. it really does matter to us! We make every single event personal to us! We completely understand that there are bigger companies, with more reviews, more stock etc, but we can absolutely guarantee that no other company will care about your event the way we do... and we're always happy to get stock in for your events as and where we can! We will keep you updated with every single detail, and accommodate to your every need! We really do want your event to go as perfect as you do.. Because we love what we do, and love making your ideas a reality! So please bare that in mind when looking for a company to book with! We appreciate every single booking no matter how big or small because to us you're not just another number, your someone who put your trust in us and we will ALWAYS make sure we dont disappoint you 🩷
