Nigel Smith Photography At Nigel Smith photography my aim is to give you a relaxed and stress free photographic experience whilst producing the pictures you always wanted. Terms:

Whether you want wedding photography, a christening, first communion, sweet sixteen party or any other family occasion, I will capture your special moments of the day with edited pictures on disk or print, with packages starting from £250

With my portable studio, you can feel at ease in the comfort of your own home or you could come to my fully equipped studio. Lovely bumps to babies, children’

s & family photography & beautiful pictures of your family pets. All lovingly photographed & edited to bring out the best in your family & loved ones. We offer various packages which are as follows:

Studio shoot and one framed A4 print £35
Studio shoot and three framed A4 prints £70
Studio shoot and images on disk with printing rights £100

Large Poster Prints / Canvas Prints available on request. Packages can also be tailored to meet your requirements. We also offer a location family portrait session package. This fantastic package includes a photo session for up to 6 people at your favourite location, be it a park, the beach or a special family place, plus a framed A4 print. The session will take around 1 hour and we will create lots of beautiful, natural portraits you will treasure for a lifetime. This fantastic package is available to purchase today for £95. Gift vouchers are now available on request. Gift vouchers can only be redeemed at and through Nigel Smith Photography.
2. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-returnable or transferable.
3. Gift vouchers which are defaced, altered or cancelled will not be accepted.
4. Gift vouchers may be exchanged for services or products of a higher or equal price to the face value on the voucher(s) purchased.
5. Gift vouchers are valid for six months from the issue date - the expiry date will be indicated on the voucher(s).

Steall Waterfall, Scotland.

Steall Waterfall, also known as An Steall Bàn or Steall Falls, is situated in Glen Nevis near Fort William, Highland, Scotland. Apparently it’s Scotland’s second highest waterfall with a drop of 120 metres.

Just got back from a trip up to Scotland with my wife. Didn’t get as many nice photos as I would have liked to but had a lovely break away nonetheless.

Been busy over the last 2 months converting a small camper van in readiness for the trip which is also used to tow our caravan hence the lack of posts to my page.

Here’s one of Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Steetley Pier, Hartlepool, North East England

I had taken this photo of back in January with the sole intention of creating a BW image with the blended horizon.
I did that edit by only using one of the exposures, but the underside of the pier was heavily in the shadows meaning that the detail on the wood could not be made out. I have uploaded this image to my page previously if you wish to look back at it.

Whilst on location, I also took additional exposures to account for the shadows but only yesterday I got around to creating the HDR version.

I have opted to leave the horizon on my new edit and also create it in colour as well as BW.

Penshaw Monument, Houghton le Spring, Sunderland, North East England

Went out last night hoping to do some star trailing at this location but as soon as I set up my composition, the clouds came over pretty quick.

I gathered that I’d still take some photos regardless. This one was created by taking 4 images. I focused on the steps, then on the monument but with each 30 second exposure I used a torch to paint the foreground with light.
