Summer is almost over, but all this hot weather has had our elves in a tizz… and they’ve absolutely wrecked this year’s Christmas Town prices. 🎄☀️

Just look what they’ve done to Early Bird compared to last year's Box Office prices:

🎟️ Thursday: £16 → £10
🎟️ Friday: £20 → £12.50
🎟️ Saturday: £24 → £15
🎟️ Sunday: £24 → £15

They’ve also thrown in a brand new Family Pass to make Christmas EVEN cheaper, and brought our Tipi shows down to just £5 😳

Unfortunately, the Grinch has found out, and he’s already working on putting an end to it…

We’ve been going non-stop to bring back the things people love about Christmas Town: unlimited rides and attractions with your pass, Giant Heated Tipis, festive entertainment, Santa’s Grotto, food, bars and loads happening around the town centre.

And thanks to Bishop Auckland Town Council, local residents get Thursday Passes for just £7.50 💙

Christmas Town itself is completely free to enter. You can still come along, soak up the atmosphere, eat, drink, shop and enjoy the town without buying a pass.

🕑 For four days, the town centre will once again be filled with lights, rides, food, entertainment and the kind of festive atmosphere that only happens when the whole community comes together.

What makes Christmas Town special isn’t just what’s on. It’s seeing families, friends, neighbours, local businesses and visitors all sharing the town at its best 🏘️

We're super excited to bring a limited number of Early Bird passes to you this summer season, with savings of around 30% compared with Box Office prices.

🎄🎅 A week ago today, we were dancing in the rain as the Christmas Town Parade wound its way through Bishop Auckland town centre, and honestly, the weather only added to the magic.

💃 Skirts swirling, drums echoing through the streets, lanterns glowing and smiles everywhere you looked. Rain-soaked or not, the town came together to celebrate the start of Christmas Town in the most joyful way possible. 🥁

Because sometimes the most magical moments aren’t the perfectly planned ones - they’re the ones where everyone just keeps dancing anyway. 💫🎄

🎄✨ THAT’S A WRAP, BISHOP AUCKLAND! ✨🎄

And just like that… Christmas Town 2025 has come to an end — and what an unbelievable four days it’s been! ❤️🎅

From the very first ride spinning 🎡 to the last hot chocolate served ☕✨, you turned the Market Place into a festive wonderland filled with joy, music, laughter, and magic.

To the thousands of you who came along, supported local traders, explored the market 🎁, packed out the Tipis 🔥, glided on the rink ⛸️, queued for Santa 🎅, and lit up the town with festive cheer — THANK YOU. You made this event truly unforgettable.

🌟 A huge shout-out to our incredible traders, performers, ride operators, stewards, production crew, and every partner who helped make Christmas Town happen, especially The Auckland Project for providing their buildings.

We owe a special thanks to Bishop Auckland Town Council, our Principal Partner, for making this magic happen, and to BACCANALIA and Bridge Creative, the non-profit enterprises that work tirelessly year-round to bring this event to the town.
