Please could I ask all my friends, and customers to leave me review on floral embers face book site, so people trust us!after 32 years I've never had to do this....but seems like it's the way of the world now....I've never had a complaint in 30 years, so havnt asked for review a simple thank you is all I required, many thanks, Dawn and Naomi

A New Beginning – Floral Embers Florist 🌸

Hello everyone,
I’m Dawn, a florist with over 30 years of experience. Many of you will know me from The Flower Box — and you’ll also know that for years, my husband Andy worked right by my side. We were a team in every sense of the word. 💕

The last two years have been the hardest of my life. Andy fought oesophagus cancer with incredible courage and strength. For a while, we thought we’d beaten it — but sadly, he lost his battle in March. I’ve been heartbroken beyond words, and I want to thank my loyal customers, many of whom have become dear friends, for your love, patience, and understanding.

Now, it’s time for a gentle new beginning. Bills still need paying, and I miss the joy that flowers bring — so I’ll be slowly returning to work, with the wonderful Naomi by my side. Naomi has worked alongside me through our busiest seasons over the years, and now she’ll be my strength in moments of weakness. Together, we’ll continue to create beauty and share a little kindness along the way.

We’re starting this next chapter under our new name:
🌿 Floral Embers Florist – Dawn & Naomi 🌿

We’ll be running Festive Wreath and Table Arrangement Workshops throughout December, and we’re now taking orders for Christmas wreaths, flowers, and festive arrangements.
In the new year, we’ll also be offering bridal and seasonal workshops — so watch this space!

Happy mothers day to all lovely mom's out there, sorry I can't be part of supplying beautiful flowers to you all....25 years I've been doing it....but please bare with me, I feel unable to do flowers as many of you know I lost my amazing hubby, my soul mate, love of my life...and my partner in business...I'm broken and emotionally drained and struggling to cope with life at moment...please.be patient with me while I find strength to cope without the love.of my life....thank you for all kindness me and krissi have received tho these dark days ###

With broken hearts, we share that Andy passed away peacefully yesterday morning at home, surrounded by his loved ones and his two beloved doggies. After a long and hard battle with cancer, he remained the warrior we all knew him to be - fighting with incredible strength, resilience, and courage for nearly two years since his diagnosis. Whatever the world threw at him, he took it on headfirst, never losing his smile, his laughter, or his love for life.

Andy was a true Viking - an amazing man with a heart of gold, so generous and kind. The world is left with a giant hole where his light once shone. He was the life and soul of every party, always making people smile with his unique, quirky character. He was such a people person and found joy in lifting others up, bringing laughter wherever he went. He was such a unique, kind, truly special man with a lust for life.

Now he is free, flying with the birds in the sky that he loved to watch. Though we are absolutely devastated, if Andy has taught us anything, it?s to have the strength to carry on, just as he did every day.

To honor his incredible life, we will be arranging a Celebration of Life - a day filled with love, stories, photos, and memories of this extraordinary man. We would love for all who knew and loved him to join us in remembering and celebrating him. More details will be shared soon.

Hello my lovelies...Mothers Day is this weekend. we will be here at the Flower Box 830 Yardley wood road (by sweet chillies restaurant) today Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March. From 9.30 till 5 pm selling fresh flowers.

As many of you know, Andy has been fighting oesophagus cancer. He's been a true viking and has had the fight of his life. He really wants to give a little back to the amazing cancer team where he is being treated at the QE hospital, so we are raising money for the cancer centre as they are desperately in need of new equipment to help treat other patients like Andy with oesophageal cancer.

So during Mother’s Day weekend, we are running a fundraiser from our flower shop. There will be a big selfie flower wall and a box filled with fun props and some cardboard celebs! Bring your mom, nan, kids, grandkids and friends, have a rummage in our photo props box and take some snaps!

There will also be a ferris wheel full of chocolate and cup cakes for you to enjoy!
Also raffle for 3 x £30 Sweet Chillies vouchers for amazing food at sweet chillies restaurant, many thanks to iqbal at sweet chillies for his kind donation £2 a raffle ticket !
The flower wall will be inside the meridian centre (next door to us) so can be enjoyed even if it rains!

Hello my lovelies...mothers day is approaching quickly...after missing Christmas and valentines day...we will be here sat 9th Sunday 10th March selling flowers. As you are all aware Andy has been fighting oesophagus cancer...chemotherapy massive 10 hour operation over Christmas....and another 4 lots of brutal chemotherapy! He's been a true viking....and had fight of his life.....he really wants to give a little back to the amazing cancer team at queen Elizabeth hospital.....he will be here....taking it easy! But raising money every penny going directly to cancer unit! So please stop and say hello bring your cameras and phone we are having a charity photo selfie wall....use our props snap away...have flower wall, 2 seater throne chair....ferris wheel full of chocolate and cup cakes....put what you can in our wishing well...bring your mom, nan , kids, grand kids help us raise money....it means such a lot to Andy.###x ill be at our shop 830 Yardley Wood Road ( my lovely neighbour is letting us use her shop next door ( meridian centre) for charity selfie flower wall x
