On 9th June 2026, the Virtual Decisions team will be exhibiting at the Modernising Criminal Justice Conference at the QEII Centre, London.

You can find us at Stand 6, where we’ll be showcasing our immersive virtual reality experiences designed specifically for youth justice and probation services. The conference brings together professionals from across the criminal justice sector, from arrest through to release, creating an opportunity to connect, collaborate and explore the latest innovations shaping the future of justice.

Our award winning, evidence backed and trauma informed VR programmes are designed to support engagement, reflection and meaningful conversations around decision making, behaviour and long term outcomes.

We’re looking forward to meeting professionals from across the sector and being part of the conversation around innovation, reform and best practice within criminal justice.

If you’re attending the conference, come along and say hello, we’d be delighted to discuss how Virtual Decisions could support your organisation and the work you do across the justice sector.

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for not one, but two awards at this year’s Education Awards 🎉

Being recognised for both Education Resource of the Year and the Innovation Award is a huge moment for our team and a reflection of the impact we’re striving to make every day.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey.

Today, Josh and Daisy are at Oakhill Secure Training Centre delivering a Virtual Decisions session as part of Knife Crime Awareness Week 2026.

This forms part of our targeted outreach work, engaging directly with young people to explore the realities and consequences of knife crime in a safe and supported environment.

Through our immersive, evidence backed and trauma informed virtual reality programme, young people are able to simulate real life decision making, encouraging reflection, discussion and a deeper understanding of the impact of their choices. The programme is based on the psychology and neuroscience of adolescent decision-making and extensive grassroots consultation with young people.

It gives a chance for young people to reflect on decisions and look to the future.

This week, we are proud to stand alongside Knife Crime Awareness Week 2026 (18–24 May) and we couldn't be more behind the message: knife crime is not inevitable.

At Virtual Decisions, tackling knife crime is at the very heart of what we do. Our award-winning Virtual Decisions: KNIVES experience puts young people in the shoes of someone facing the real consequences of carrying a weapon, not through lectures or warnings, but through immersive, trauma-informed VR that sparks genuine reflection and empathy.

“Knife Crime Awareness Week is an event that matters deeply to everyone at Virtual Decisions. We strongly agree with the message that knife crime is not inevitable and that real change is possible. Every day we see young people take off a VR headset and want to talk and that’s exactly why campaigns like this are so important.” - Claire Downes, CEO and Co-Founder, Virtual Decisions

91% of young people who take part in our programme say they are more likely to consider the consequences of knife crime.

We are proud to stand alongside the individuals and organisations working every day to protect young lives and create lasting change.

Spotlight on Esme ✨

Esme is playing a key role in shaping our latest VR experience, co-leading the creative consultation process and working closely with young facilitators across the region. Her journey with us reflects our commitment to collaboration, ensuring young voices are not just heard but actively driving the stories we tell.

By working alongside peers, Esme is helping to create something authentic, meaningful and grounded in real experiences.

“The experience I’ve had working for Virtual Decisions so far has been absolutely amazing. The films they make genuinely connect with young people and give them a space to talk about the issues they face in an environment with no judgement.”

Our team are out and about this week, working with young people across the region on creative consultations for a brand new VR experience.

Taking a child-first, evidence-based approach is at the heart of everything we do. By listening directly to young people, we’re ensuring their voices shape the story and creating something that feels authentic, meaningful and truly representative.

It’s a powerful opportunity to collaborate, build trust and bring real experiences to life through immersive storytelling.

If you’d like to be part of the journey or learn more about our work, get in touch with Stu at: [email protected].

Understanding sits at the heart of effective youth justice work.

Virtual Decisions don’t just provide VR solutions, they work closely with professionals to ensure every experience reflects the real challenges, conversations and decisions faced on the ground.

The result is immersive learning that resonates, supports behaviour change and helps drive better outcomes for young people.

That’s why organisations choose to work with them.

Phil’s calendar has been so packed lately, we’re starting to think we won’t see him again until 2027 🚗💨

He’s been up and down the country delivering Virtual Decisions experiences to organisations, schools and communities and definitely putting some serious miles on that new car of his in the process.

While HQ is a little quieter without him, it’s a great sign of the growing demand for immersive learning and the impact it’s having nationwide.

From demos to full delivery days, Phil’s out there making sure teams don’t just try VR but use it in a way that really works.

If you’d like Phil to clock up a few more miles and bring Virtual Decisions to you, book a demo with Stu at [email protected].

A look back at our recent premiere of the new Virtual Decisions: ASB experience 🎬

It was a brilliant evening bringing together the team at Virtual Decisions alongside the young people who played such a key role in being a part of the experience. It was great to celebrate everyone’s hard work in one room.

The feedback on the night was incredibly positive and it was clear how much everyone enjoyed seeing the final result come to life on screen.

A huge thank you to everyone involved 👏

If you’d like to bring the ASB experience to your school, local area or organisation, book a demo with Stu at [email protected].
