After three incredible years of celebrating your talent, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the UK Balloon Artist Awards this April. 🎈

This isn’t a decision I’ve taken lightly. As many of you know, I’m a huge advocate for focusing on what truly drives a business forward. The Awards have been an amazing journey, but they require a level of time and energy that I simply need to redirect back into my core business, Pro Balloon Shop and my own personal well-being after a challenging year.

We’ve had 1,000+ people through the doors and crowned so many winners - I want to go out on a high and pass the torch.

Hey everyone 💜

You may have heard some rumours already, but I wanted to share this with you directly. We’ve made the decision to move the UK Balloon Artist Awards from November to Saturday 18th April 2026 at The Eastside Rooms, Birmingham.

I had a formal statement all written up, but the more I thought about it, the more I felt it was important to be honest. Like so many founders, I juggle business, family, and life — and earlier this year, I was thrown a bit of a curveball personally. My energy has gone into looking after my mental health, my little boy, and keeping my two businesses going with the help of my amazing team.

The Awards are something I pour my heart into every year, and I knew I couldn’t give them the time and focus they deserve right now. I never want to stand on that stage unless I can say I’ve given it my all. So I made the difficult decision to postpone.

I’m so proud of what the Awards have become and how much they mean to our industry. Thank you so much to our sponsors (announcements coming soon!) who’ve been completely supportive, and to all our ticket holders who’ve kept their tickets in place even before the new date was confirmed — you’re amazing.

This has been the toughest few months of my life, but I’m coming out stronger and so ready to make 2026 our biggest, brightest celebration yet 🎈

Here’s to celebrating the incredible, talented, and resilient artists who make this industry such a wonderful community to be part of 💜
