YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF TO HAVE A GOOD TIME...

Taking your shoes off, however...

Highly recommended.

Especially when fluffy hotel slippers are involved.

Sequins and Slippers are my kind of outfit.

THE RISE. THE LAUNCH.

When .coaching asked me to curate and create her launch party for THE RISE ~ her membership, method & podcast, you can bet your bottom dollar my head, heart and soul had a little party of its own.

Having worked with Jo on previous events for & with her corporate, commercial and private clients, I always feel my cup is full when I leave, she trusts me implicitly and allows me full design & production autonomy, with 'you're the expert' and more so ' I trust you' constantly falling from her lips.

Designing & playing with the details for this event was all kinds of magic, knowing the catering would be something of an editorial edible art table by I knew it would need to be front and centre stage, and that it was, with elements of Jo Irving branding intertwined throughout.

All the finer details, the little elements that were imperative to the overall feel, did not go unmissed, it was beautiful to witness clients, friends, press and guests taking it all in. Details such as branded Candles and Matches, knowing a huge part of her journey and the reason she does what she does (& does it so well!) was due to Burnout... but not on Jo's watch now, the only thing burning was the scent of those incredible candles.... and her ears as everyone is talking and raving about her new Podcast.

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS...

The amount of times clients, couples or their guests hunt me out during an event to highlight "a little thing" a "how did you even think of that" or a "but, how did you know to..."

Let me tell you how I know... Because at JP The Event Expert 'WE DON'T JUST DESIGN EXPERIENCES, WE UNDERSTAND PEOPLE.'

Over time, we learn that the "big" things in life, are actually the little things...the moments, the memories, the little quote, the "oh wow they remembered", a personalised element... little nuggets that stack up and give meaning- that show you've been seen or heard... THAT is exactly what we do, we listen, we watch and we deliver.

SOME SAY 'ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END...'

But, I say, after TWENTY YEARS this year of giving my heart and soul in this industry, this is only just the beginning...

What started as a stationery design studio, that grew into wedding styling, wedding planning, event styling, event production and planning, set design, corporate & commercial events, private client events, brand & event consultancy plus so much more...

Both I & my business have grown in so many ways over last twenty years.

It's time to step up and step into who I am, what I have learnt, honing in on the experiences, the knowledge & the expertise I have crafted over two decades; its all going under one brand JP. The Event Expert | June Glackin

LOVERS LOCH.

An immersive, deep, 'below ground' experience.

H&K, a beautiful, beautiful couple from USA fell in love with Scotland, its landscape, highlands, rugged rocks & incredible lochs.

With their venue set, the dreamy and a multi day event planned, it was only right we played with their love of the landscape.

With their Welcome Dinner based around 'A Lovers Loch' no pretty flowers, no typical elegance of a wedding in this castle setting.

Instead, we played with what mother nature provided for us, mosses, rocks, ferns, puddles of reflective lochs capturing the light, reflective brushed chrome stationery all lit by candle light.

For the emphasis of this evening was to take guests deep beneath...

Wedding design, wedding styling, event architecture, scotland wedding, scotland destination wedding, castle wedding, Loch, junie poonie.
