Had this pop up on my memories today..
14 years ago! Wowsers a much younger self lol !

Back in our first little kitchen,
with the full support of Dawn and our new bundle of joy" Lysbeth" just being born we had plenty going on back then and yet we had the idea to go it on alone and start a little Personal chef and catering business up .

With a some savings and investment from an amazing wife We did it.
Getting our kitchen fitted out in Mount street buying a van and the long hours of putting together our first website. We did it all outselves no banks no agency's and no flashy ads.
Word of mouth was our marketing lol
No one prepares you for what comes around the corner in life ,but with a bit of luck, plenty of support and plenty of hard graft.
We can make a living and support our families.

So this beautiful soul is Lysbeth my daughter, ( I know Im biased) but I wanted to post a little message as I am so proud of this young lady, she has come on so well and is honestly a joy to be around. Take early this week when her school was closed for the day . I asked her if she would like to help out and she jumped at the chance. Now most kids working with dad for the day wouldn't be on their to do list, but not for Lysbeth she saw it as a way of spending some quality time together and having fun whilst doing something that helped her dad . She had fun serving guests at the local croquet club and even getting all the washing up cleared up at the end of the day. Bless her xx

Free-range chicken forestier Terrine .

Its not everyday you get asked to cater when the guest of honour is celebrating their 90th Birthday. !
Alan chose a really tasty terrine to Start his birthday meal . Chicken stock soaked Layers of sautéed mushrooms, lentils, white beans, smoked bacon and poached free range chicken all wrapped up with prosciutto, and Savoy cabbage. So tasty 😋
