From My Sketch Book

Currently working on the Stirchley Sketch book challenge. I handed in my sketch book someone else will work in it. I have someone else's book to work on for two weeks.

Of course 🇵🇸 made it to my pages. The theme for the first week was food.

🇮🇱 had Stopped all food entering Gaza so the Idea of Food, Control and Humanity was on my mind.

The Watermelon 🍉 being a 🇵🇸 Symbol of Resistance. The 🍉 has Been used throughout Art and was also a Racist Symbol of Ridicule for freed Black Americans.

The Olive Tree and Oranges are also Strong Images of Palestine.



My mom is doing this community art project with me, she said she liked what I had done. Plenty of research. She did say don't Make it too Political. As I had to pass the book on....
