We've been keeping a little secret... and we're finally allowed to share it! 👀

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Pom Poms Party has been named Creative Event Decor Business of the Year 2026 – West Midlands! 🏆✨

And as if winning the award wasn't exciting enough, we've also been featured in SME News, with a full article about Pom Poms Party, our journey and what makes our little business so special to us.

When we started Pom Poms Party back in 2018, we had no idea where the journey would take us.

What started as a little idea has grown into a business we're incredibly proud of, creating everything from children's parties and milestone birthdays to weddings, corporate events and completely bespoke celebrations. 🎈

For us, it's never been just about balloons. It's about the WOW moment when our customers see everything come together. ✨

To have that recognised with this award, and then to see our story featured in print, is a pretty special feeling.

Apparently the 80s are back, so naturally we had to see what Pom Poms Party HQ would have looked like back in the day! 😂

Big shoulder pads ✔️

Questionable fashion ✔️

Only slight problem... Pom Poms Party didn't actually start until 2018! 🤣

What a fabulous afternoon we had at out Back to School Photoshoot at Solihull Lodge Community Centre x

Huge thank you to each and every family who came and joined in the fun. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

Who would be interested a FREE - Yes FREE - Back to School Photoshoot for your little ones?

We are proud to be collaborating with the amazing team at Lodge Community Centre to bring you a fabulous opportunity to make some back to school/first day at school memories.

We are creating a backdrop, including props and balloon decor and all you guys would need to do is bring your little ones (and big ones if you can get them there lol), your camera and getting snapping some super pictures for their first day of school, or first day in Year ....., or just back to school - the choice is yours.

There is currently a poll over on our page would really appreciate it if you would let us know if this is something that you would be interested in and what days/times you feel would be most appropriate - as a Mom myself I know the struggle of getting the kids in and out of uniforms - so we want to make this as easy and fun as possible.

There are options for the first day the schools go back, either in the morning or after school, options for a early evening where you could come along, take the photos then we were thinking a PJ party and providing milk/juice and a cookie, so you could get them changed and then they can chill with their friends, do some colouring or similar - we are just throwing ideas around at the minute and we just thought this would make a change from the in front of the door pictures lol.

Anyway, if you have any other thoughts on this, please let us know in the comments but please do vote - we would really appreciate it and then we can update you moving forward.

Yes we know we have been MIA for an age but rest assured we are still here and working our little socks off!

We have some amazing things in the pipeline and cannot wait to share these with you.

Firstly we are kicking things off with our Fun Free Back to School Photoshoot Opportunity! We are proud to be collaborating with the amazing team at Lodge Community Centre to bring you a fabulous opportunity to make some back to school/first day at school memories.
