A moment needed for this stunning table 😀

It was such a pleasure to meet Harriet from she is incredibly talented and it shows.

From the textured linen to the elegant charger plates with the napkins carefully wrapped around.

The chairs are gorgeous but my favourite has to be the fruit.

Pears, figs and grapes 🍇.

It shows anything is possible with the right suppliers.

The conservatory setting surrounded by large plants gave this a cool jungle feel.

If you do then I am here to show you what that actually looks like ⏫⏫.

How we achieved this:

High level connection moments throughout the day that were carefully added to the timeline.
Enough time to actually speak to and engage with your guest.
No rushed or forced moments.
Music the couple love - music that meant people wanted to dance - wanted to be involved.
The couple (me 😂) felt completely relaxed, at my absolute best, adrenaline running through my body, excitement all day, joyful and beyond happy.

Do I even need wedding day coordination?

You've probably spent months planning. You've made every decision, which can be the hardest part, you've booked every supplier and chosen every detail intentionally.

Now you need someone to make sure it all comes together exactly as you've planned while you are free to enjoy your wedding day without restraint or worry.

Here's what you get when you book me:

I want you to be celebrating, not coordinating. Your phone stays on silent as all calls come to me. You're present, radiant and celebrating with everyone you love.

I create realistic, detailed timelines for the day based on 12+ years of event management experience. This level of expertise and minute by minute schedule gives you a seamless flow to your entire day, one that I manage with precision.

I will solve any problems invisibly. I have dealt with caterers running behind, extreme weather, suppliers delayed. I handle it before you even know. You stay stress-free while I'm working behind the scenes.

I'm the central contact for all your suppliers and the venue. I coordinate setup, timing and service ensuring everyone has the info they need so you don't have to.

Your family gets to be guests. I know you care about their experience just as much as your own. You don't want your bridesmaids running around in the morning, stressed and asking you questions. With me handling all the morning set up you can ALL be fully present.

What makes me different:
I don't wait until 6 weeks out to meet you. I want to start building a relationship with you from the moment you book. This is a huge deal for you, you don't want a stranger to coordinate your day. I make sure we get to know each other so you feel comfortable from the very beginning.

I understand logistics deeply with every single role I have had over the last 17 years being a heavy problem-solving job. The result is you're on a cloud with everyone you love, feeling radiant, joyful & fully present.

Throwback to Summer 2025

That wedding day feeling of pure elation, excitement and a jaw that hurts from smiling.

I also enjoyed the incredible talents of for the evening.

This was such a touching family celebration.

Also a very small world example - I took over a job from Shaun as a Wedding Coordinator, at a luxury hotel in Surrey, when he first moved to Birmingham. I heard lots about my predecessor but never met until 12 years later.

Now I also live in Birmingham and coordinated his own wedding 😂.

How you'll feel working with me (and why it matters more than logistics)

I want to touch on the emotional shift that happens when you book full planning with me.

When you first reach out - you're excited but overwhelmed. I know wedding planning can feel like a mountain you're not sure how to climb. You want something bold and authentic, but you're worried it'll become all-consuming and not even sure where to start.

After our first meeting (over dinner at a restaurant, not an office consultation): You will feel seen, I'll ask questions no one else has, about your weekends, your favourite restaurants, how you want people to feel at your wedding. You realise this isn't transactional, this is someone who genuinely cares and wants to get to know you deeply.

Throughout planning you'll feel supported with me in your corner offering guidance, making recommendations, handling the heavy lifting but ensuring you are still the co-pilot. Your voice matters.

You'll feel calm because every time a question pops up, you know I'm one message away. You won't feel in the dark about your own wedding day because I'm instinctively one step ahead.

You'll feel excited instead of stressed. Planning becomes something you actually enjoy because you're not drowning in admin, we are making creative decisions together over wine tastings and coffee dates.

On your wedding day, you'll feel radiant and uplifted. Like you're on a cloud with everyone you love, lifted by energy that's unmatched. You're not thinking about timings or suppliers or logistics. You're present, laughing, celebrating and being exactly who you are knowing I've handled everything behind the scenes with operational precision and genuine care.

We've had a facelift..

I started Payton Events because I believe weddings should be a pure expression of who you are - bold, vibrant, unapologetically authentic.

My branding didn't quite fit with this.

This is what I believe:

Your wedding planning experience should be deeply personal, intentional, and collaborative, not generic or transactional.

At Payton Events I plan your wedding WITH you and not just for you. This shows up in intentional face to face connection moments throughout planning with support and guidance in abundance. 

Weddings should scream who you are with bold design, exceptional hospitality, an atmosphere that brings everyone together, and a party people talk about for years.

My "why" is simple: I want couples to experience their wedding day feeling completely cared for, deeply understood, and free to celebrate without restraint. When you feel your absolute best, everyone around you feels it too.

It's all about me .. Hi, I'm Naomi.

If we haven't properly met yet (or if you've been following for a while but don't really know me), here's your reintroduction.

I'm the wedding planner behind Payton Events, and I work with bold, modern couples across the Midlands who want weddings that feel undeniably them.

Here's what matters to me:

- My family & friends
- When I'm next eating
- Planning social occasions
- Wedding planning that's built on connection, not transactions.
- Depth over volume - I only take on 5 full plan weddings per year.
- Deep and meaningful connections and not just talking for the sake of it
- Empowering myself and others to never apologise for who we are

I bring 12+ years of hospitality and catering management to the table, which means I understand weddings operationally. But more importantly, I care. About my couples, their people, and how their day feels.

My approach is collaborative. You're the co-pilot. I guide, support, and handle the logistics, but your voice leads the way.

Engaged and overwhelmed - listen up.

This step will save you time, money, and a LOT of unnecessary stress along the way.

Step 4 is where planning starts to feel lighter and clearer. Set your priorities.

Sit down together and be honest:
What are your non-negotiables?
What are you happy to be flexible on?

For some couples it’s:
– Food & drink that people still talk about years later
– Live music that brings the party
– Location or accommodation

Once you know your priorities, decisions stop feeling heavy as everything filters back to:
Does this support what we actually care about?

This is the point where your wedding starts to feel intentional and not just “well planned”.

And if you want someone in your corner helping you make these decisions with clarity, confidence and positivity… you know where I am.

That rounds up the start of the year with a bang. My final piece of advice is don't rush. Take your time on each step. Next up you'll want to look into a date and location before you start the venue search. Check out my wedding planning blog as it covers the venue search stage as well.
