ICON INCOMING!! Give it up for tomorrow’s opulent guest artist EL SAM. His voice has been resonating through Birminghams veins, so tune in tomorrow for Fruit Punch UNFILTERED to get to know EL Sam better and the new music they’ve been cooking up! LIVE from Sigil Radio!

El Sam is a British-Syrian singer-songwriter and producer based in Birmingham, known for his distinctive blend of indie pop and Middle Eastern influences. Drawing on his bicultural upbringing and personal journey, his music explores themes of identity, belonging, and emotional resilience, wrapped in rich melodies and heartfelt lyrics!

Join us for the September edition of our Fruit Punch QTIPOC Social! Socialise, vibe, party and dance! We will be kicking things off on Wednesday 2nd September, 7pm-Late The Night Owl. Tickets linked in bio!

PROTECT DIGBETH NIGHTLIFE. As many of you may have heard, long standing venues and independent businesses in Digbeth are being threatened with closure/ demolition due to the MRHA new development plans.

Spaces like The Night Owl have been vital in cultivating creative spaces, and propelling the art and music culture in Brum to new heights for so many artists, workers and guests! And it’s imperative we make as much noise to support these spaces. These new development plans threaten to leech even more creativity and labour that the 0121 population has grafted to cultivate! Solidarity to all the venues and independent businesses in the firing line. WE STAND WITH YOU.

Huge shout out to .maticar for creating this important poster that embodies the type of space and culture MRHA threatens to disrupt. The Night Owl has facilitated us for almost a year now and we recognise how much work goes in to keeping this venue running and for the PEOPLE! Please check out more of .maticar work!

Welcome back PULP! Our Q***r Sober Social ! This event is for all the q***r folk who are alcohol free/ sober, and want to explore an inclusive alcohol free q***r environment with monthly creative workshops to get stuck into! So join the party and express yourself!

This month we have the 0121 icon Malikah/Emkay who will be hosting a new punch embroidery workshop. Design some new tags and panels to personalise hats, bags or create a gift, while meeting a plethora of new people and energies!

This venue is completely wheelchair accessible!

You may know Brum Indigo as the icon that’s always propelling the Birmingham/ Black Country visual story telling scenes forward, but now, come get to know this baddie as they explore their new projects in music 🤫 😈

Darnell Richards is a Birmingham-based filmmaker, video editor, and Creative Producer. As Creative Producer, Darnell designs and delivers arts projects across the Black Country, collaborating with major galleries, community hubs, and youth groups to inspire creativity in young people.

Known for his strong work ethic, fresh ideas, and commitment to visual storytelling, Darnell is passionate about making a lasting cultural impact through film, media, and the arts.

Tom Aspaul is an independent singer-songwriter from the Black Country writing and producing pop music inspired by disco, house and q***r nightlife. After penning songs for artists including Kylie Minogue, Becky Hill and Sugababes, he’s built an independent career spanning four albums, international touring and over 70 million streams. His latest project, Moustache (Part I), is out July 24, so stay tuned!!
