Re-emerging after four years in the wilderness from the murky depths of Scandinavian folklore and the heavy underground of Aalborg, Denmark, Bogwife is a psychedelic stoner/doom blues band known for their crushing riffs, thunderous drums, and immersive, hypnotic soundscapes.

This November will see the official release of their third studio album, From Ashes, and will see them teaming up once more with revered Swedish label, Majestic Mountain Records.

Taking their name from a mythological creature said to haunt the swamps of Northern Europe, Bogwife channels that eerie, natural mysticism into their music, crafting atmospheres that are as dark and murky as they are transcendent and cosmic. All We Leave Behind is a metal band from Grenoble, France, active since 2018. Their sound merges Doom, Goth and Death Metal elements, shaped by the influence of classic acts such as Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Type O Negative and Candlemass. Over the years the band has developed a dark and atmospheric identity supported by thoughtful songwriting and a strong conceptual approach.

The group was founded by guitarist and vocalist POG alongside drummer Olaf. Soon after, the lineup was strengthened by the arrival of guitarist Hell D. In 2021 the band welcomed bassist S.CRUMB, a respected figure within the local scene, whose technical approach further defined the low end. To expand the melodic textures of the music, Tony initially joined on keyboards, later taking over drums in 2022 following Olaf’s departure. This transition helped refine the internal balance of the band and gave their arrangements greater depth.

Lyrically, All We Leave Behind explore themes related to ecology, religion, social decline and the fragility of the human condition. Their compositions feature slow and heavy riffs, expressive piano passages and rhythmic structures that shift between tension and release. The result evokes a sense of introspection, emotional weight and dramatic contrast.

This new chapter sees Arce and Lalli revisiting the exploratory spirit of their most adventurous work, charting a course through some of the band's most profound and powerful compositions to date.

The album is a masterclass in dynamics, weaving between moments of stark, haunting beauty and immense, weighty sonics, creating a captivating landscape of tension and release. It was recorded and engineered at Gatos Trail Studio by Dan Joeright and mixed and co-produced by Mike Shear. The album cover was designed by Joshua Tree artist Diane Bennett.

More than three decades after their first rehearsal room sessions, Italian heavy psych trio Deadpeach are opening the vaults to unveil The Demo Tapes, a digital reissue of their original cassette recordings Green (1995) and Touch Me I’m Peach (1996).

Originally released alongside the band’s DIY Peach Zine, these long-lost recordings capture the raw energy, handmade aesthetic, and fearless experimentation that defined a generation raised on fuzz pedals, photocopiers, and tape decks. Now carefully digitized and restored, The Demo Tapes offer an unfiltered snapshot of Deadpeach’s formative years – a bridge between the punk-infused underground of the 1990s and the expansive psychedelia that would later define their sound.

Recorded live in a single day at Day Records Studio in Pesaro and produced by Paul Chain, a cult figure in the Italian doom scene, Green marks the band’s very first studio outing. Driven by lo-fi grit, grunge tones, and instinctive improvisation, the nine-track demo embodies the raw independence of the mid-’90s underground. For its 2025 reissue, the recording has been remastered at Tam Tam Studio in Cesena, preserving the original analogue warmth while making it accessible for the first time on all digital platforms. Each download and pre-order include exclusive archival photos and a full scan of the original Peach-Zine #0, offering a complete dive into Deadpeach’s earliest universe.

“These recordings capture who we were. Young, instinctive, and searching,” says vocalist and guitarist Giovanni Giovannini. “They represent a time when everything was done by hand, from recording to the artwork. It’s not just nostalgia; it’s a document of our roots.”

Following Green, Deadpeach returned with Touch Me I’m Peach in 1996, a second self-produced demo that expanded their sonic palette into garage psychedelia and early stoner tones. Originally paired with Peach-Zine #1, it continued the band’s DIY ethic while hinting at the more mature sound that would culminate in their 2007 debut album Psycle. Touch Me I’m Peach will be released digitally on 10th December 2025, with remastered audio and previously unseen photos from the era.

Founded in Cattolica, Italy, in 1993, Deadpeach have spent over three decades shaping their unique blend of heavy psych, fuzz, and vintage groove, sharing stages with Colour Haze, Orange Sunshine, and Ufomammut, and earning acclaim for their 2024 studio album The Cosmic Haze and the Human Race. With The Demo Tapes, the band revisits the DIY spirit and sonic freedom that first defined them. A time capsule of Italy’s underground rock movement before digital took over. “This is more than a reissue,” adds Giovannini. “It’s a celebration of an era when music was shared by hand – from cassette to cassette – and when imperfection was part of the magic.”

Emerging from the depths of the underground, Vast Pyre return with their second full length album titled II Bleak, set for release on November 28th 2025 through Octopus Rising, the un parallel label of Argonauta Records. The album will be available in CD, vinyl, cassette and digital formats.

The first single, Tenebrosity’s Path, offers a harrowing introduction to the shadow cloaked journey that defines II Bleak. With suffocating riffs and an atmosphere steeped in darkness, the track embodies the uncompromising doom Vast Pyre have become known for, raw, bleak and unrelenting.

Since their formation in late 2021, Vast Pyre have forged a distinctive path in the heavy music scene. Inspired by the colossal weight of genre pioneers yet driven by their own vision, the band focuses on minimalism, density and an aura of menace that sets them apart in the modern doom landscape.

European stoner, doom and psych mini-festival series PSYCH SOUNDS Fest reveals the full lineups for their upcoming Belgian and Dutch editions, to take place on February 27th and 28th in Brussels and Deventer.

Scarecrow, a heavy rock band hailing from Perm, Russia, is proud to announce the release of Scarecrow III, their third full-length album. This ambitious album is a bold fusion of classic heavy rock, progressive elements, and cinematic symphonic arrangements, offering listeners a journey through the realms of ethnic melodies, tribal rhythms, and full orchestral power.

For Scarecrow III, the band has gone beyond traditional boundaries.
