A young hungry man starting out 29 years in the music industry & still sat in my van on the way to work….I get asked all the time “why are you still working” my reply is “one I feel it keeps my feet grounded & two it pays the bills, which keeps my music in a space of enjoyment with no pressure” I am so proud of my career the journey, playing out for 4 cans of red stripe every weekend, the passion wasn’t for money, glitz, glam & fame, even though I was skint, just about enough money every week to cover rent & a record shop, it was to make people dance & smile. This has taught me so many values along the way, some rewards for the last 29 years are finally starting to unfold, but it hasn’t been easy, certainly not been a silver spoon career. I love my life, my wife and I’ve never been so happy in music. Can’t wait for what else to about to happen, I’ve never felt so blessed 💚
