Three years ago, I took a leap of faith.
With nothing but a passion for film and a dream in my heart, I set out to become a videographer. Iād always been drawn to storytelling through cinematography it was more than a hobby, it felt like my calling. Thatās when Utopia Videos was born.
The word Utopia means an ideal world a place of perfection, harmony, and beauty. That name became more than just a brand. It became the heart of everything I stand for. My goal has always been simple: to create something meaningful, to capture moments in a way that reflects not just how they looked, but how they felt.
But it wasnāt easy.
I started with nothing not even a camera. In a twist of fate, I entered a raffle to win a full videography kitā¦ and I won. That moment felt like destiny stepping in to say, "This is where you're meant to be."
More recently, that dream was nearly taken from me. My camera broke at a crucial moment, and for the first time, I felt ready to walk away. But something incredible happened family, friends, and even people I had never met came together to help me replace it. Their kindness and belief in me reminded me why I started in the first place. Utopia had to continue.
Then, just last year, I expanded into photography a whole new chapter.
Translating my eye for motion into stills was a challenge, but one I embraced fully. Wedding photography, in particular, comes with immense responsibility. You only get one chance to capture that moment that smile, that tear, that memory. I donāt take that lightly. Every shot I take, I ask myself, āWhat story will this tell in ten, twenty, even fifty years?ā And with every wedding, I grow. I improve. I ask for feedback, I study my craft, and I always aim to be better than I was the time before.
The images shown here are from my cousinās wedding just this weekend a deeply personal project that reminded me why I love what I do.
