🇬🇧 VE Day Vibes
Today marks Victory in Europe Day – a day when, in 1945, communities across the country came together in relief, joy, and remembrance as the Second World War came to an end in Europe.
It’s a moment to pause, reflect and honour the incredible bravery, sacrifice, and resilience shown by so many – not just on the front lines, but in everyday homes, families, and neighbourhoods.
We’re thinking of the street parties that bloomed out of sheer relief. The music, the makeshift dancing, the borrowed bunting, and the shared stories – all echoes of a time when hope finally came back into focus.
Today, we remember with full hearts and quiet gratitude. ❤️
As we reflect on the peace hard-won in 1945, our thoughts are also with those around the world today still living through conflict – a reminder of just how precious peace truly is.

Did you know we have an online events hire shop?

Everything (and so much more) you need for an epic outdoor event!
Directly in the hire shop you can build your events wish list and send directly to us or browse and drop us a message and tell us when and where you need the kit!

Unlike many national hire centres we will deliver directly into your event site at the day and time you need - not a Monday - Friday 9-5 open window.

You’ll find; fencing, festoon, fridge hire, fire extinguishers and things that don’t begin with F
