🪨🎨 What a fantastic Pebble Painting Session! 🎨🪨

On Tues 18th August, I had such a lovely time getting creative at St Barnabas Church, Erdington, with lots of colourful pebbles, big imaginations and plenty of smiles! 🌈🖌️💕

A huge well done to everyone who joined us and created their very own pebble — we loved seeing all the wonderful designs! 🐞🌸🌈

🌿 Later Life Planning at Sutton Rose Care Home

On Tuesday 18th August, me and Geneva had the pleasure of visiting Sutton Rose Care Home to deliver a Later Life Planning session.

It was a lovely opportunity to chat with residents, answer questions and share useful information about planning ahead and making important decisions for the future. 💚

🤖💥 WHAT A DAY IN SUTTON COLDFIELD!🐝🚛

Transformers Day has officially taken over Sutton Coldfield Town Centre! 💙

We had an action-packed day with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron making special appearances throughout the day, alongside our fantastic FREE face painting!🤡🎨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, met the Transformers and made the day so much fun! 📸🤖

July’s Farmers & Craft Market was another fantastic day in Sutton Coldfield! 🌿🛍️

The town centre was filled with a wonderful selection of local traders, talented craft makers, delicious produce, and plenty of visitors coming along to support small businesses and enjoy the atmosphere.

It was brilliant to see the community come together once again, with lots of browsing, shopping, and conversations taking place throughout the day.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing traders and everyone who came along to support the event. We look forward to welcoming you back at the next market! 💙

On 20th July, I had a wonderful time visiting Birmingham Hospice – Erdington Site, where I led a fun and creative craft session using recycled egg cartons. 🌸💙

It was lovely to spend time with everyone, getting creative together and transforming simple materials into beautiful handmade flowers. There were plenty of smiles, great conversations and lots of artistic talent on display!

Thank you to everyone who took part and to the team at Birmingham Hospice for such a warm welcome. I always enjoy being part of activities that bring people together and create lasting memories.

On Saturday 12th July, I had the privilege of organising and running Car Fest as part of my role with Sutton Coldfield BID – and what an incredible day it was! 🚗✨

The town was absolutely buzzing with excitement as visitors enjoyed:
🚘 6 fantastic display cars
🎭 4 amazing walkabout characters
🎨 Free face painting
🎤 Live music from the brilliant Jason Allen

It was fantastic to see so many families and visitors enjoying everything the event had to offer. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success. Events like these really do bring our community together, and I'm so proud to have been a part of it! 💙

On Friday 3rd July, I had the pleasure of taking part in Big Brum Buckets for Birmingham Hospice alongside our Funeral Director, Sarah, at Gracechurch Shopping Centre in Sutton Coldfield. 💙

We were also joined by the lovely Mark, who generously volunteered his time to help us throughout the day. Together, we spent the day raising awareness and collecting donations to support the incredible work Birmingham Hospice does for local families.

An amazing £7,000+ was raised across the three days of Big Brum Buckets - an incredible achievement that wouldn't have been possible without the kindness and generosity of everyone who donated and supported the campaign.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, donated, or cheered us on. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference. 💛

After originally signing up to take part in the Race for Life Mud Run for Cancer Research UK, a few colleagues unfortunately had to drop out. Thankfully, Callum kindly stepped in on the day and took on the challenge with me! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙

It was a muddy, challenging, and unforgettable experience, all in support of an incredible cause. Together, we were proud to raise an amazing £1,250.00 for Cancer Research UK.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported us, and cheered us on. Your generosity will help fund vital research and make a real difference. ❤️

June's Farmers & Craft Market was another fantastic day in Sutton Coldfield! 🌿🛍️

It was wonderful to see the town centre filled with local businesses, talented artisan makers, delicious food producers, and so many people coming out to support them. From unique handmade crafts to fresh local produce, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing traders, entertainers, and everyone who came along to shop local and support our community. We can't wait to do it all again next month!

In June, Sarah (our Funeral Director) and I were invited along to a private Women’s Group at St Barnabas Church, where we spent time getting creative together decorating tealight holders. 🕯️✨

It was a lovely opportunity to meet with the group, share conversations, and enjoy a relaxing creative activity together.

Just look at these beautiful, unique jars that everyone created — each one full of colour, creativity, and personality! 🌸💙

A huge thank you to the group for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of such a wonderful session.
